| Danny December 15, 2009 10:44:15 PM Entry ID: 1742390 | I want everyone to have fun this Saturday at our Championship game. Not too often do you have a chance to finish a season with no loses. Usually, Dept. of Rec. uses either Parkwood or Torresdale for neutral sites. Since both teams are in the finals they were going to use either Vogt or Bridesburg. None of these fields are lined and we would have to bring nets. Torresdale refused to play at Parkwood, I made it easy for the league. This will be our third time playing them on their field this year...let's make it a hat trick! |

| Danny October 21, 2009 10:51:55 PM Entry ID: 1718066 | We had the Dept. of Rec. All Star game at Torresdale and it was a really sloppy game. Ryan and I coached our team to a 6-0 win. Davie and DJ were clearly the only team players on the field. I saw too much bunching from the other players. Being an All Star game you would think some of the players would have a clue...Davie played shutdown defense as the sweeper and set up DJ for his goal. DJ played the first half as keeper and gave up no goals as expected. The second half DJ scored 1 goal. |

This columbus day/weekend tournament was a huge success for your team, bringing home the Gold cup proved your success in team work. Everyone came to play and you worked hard for it. Dylan carried that trophy around for 2 hours (lol). Then when we got home, he made sure he put it on his trophy shelf right up in front. He said "Mom, I hope nobody steals my trophy because it's real gold and it's worth a lot of money". hahahaha It was nice to have the extra players for the tournament too. It gave you guys a little break. They played awesome and really helped the team. |
