I started running on fast lane 3 years ago and ever sense I’ve been exposed to a multitude of opportunities and have received the best training and coaching from my one and only coach, Coach Walker. Without the help or exposure that Coach Walker has given me, I would not be where I’m at today. I went from jumping 9 feet in sixth grade in middle school to becoming a 7x all American, winning second at junior olympics in triple jump and setting the long jump record at FSU for my age group. I’m greatful for all the times and memories that fast lane track club has given me over these past years and I’m looking foward to many more |

Although I haven't been there for a while I can tell Coach Walker is a great coach and really cares to better us as athletes. I hope to stay with them and learn from him. The other athletes are great to train with and the whole group is great to be around. |

Being apart of fast lane is being apart of a family that genuinely loves and cares for you. Not only did I join a family but I also joined a very competitive and hard working environment, that allowed me to accomplish my goals. Coach walker is an amazing coach, he encourages us and pushes us to our limits which makes us improve in our events. Coach walker and fast lane has helped me personally become a States champion in the 100m and states runner-up in the 200 and also a full-ride scholarship to the University of Miami. I will continue to use the fast lane mentality of working hard at the University of Miami and I can’t thank coach walker and fast lane enough! |

I joined my junior year of high school when I decided to get serious about track and Coach Walker helped me so much. Coach Walker taught me so much about track and life. Everyone made me feel so welcome and made me understand what the true meaning of a team is. I’m so happy to be continuing my athletic and academic career at a D1 program at Davidson College where I just earned a spot on the all rookie team for the A-10 conference. Coach Walker definitely helped me to have so much success in high school with a state championship in high jump and traveling to junior Olympics with Fast Lane. I’ll always be thankful for his support and encouragement! |

I was just getting out of the 10th grade when my high school track coach told me that if I wanted to get better, I needed to run track for a club. He introduced me to fast lane and I won’t lie, I was skeptical at first. I hadn’t been running for too long and I wasn’t very serious about track anyway as I already played soccer. I got the courage to walk out to the first fast lane practice and I’ll always remember the first thing coach walker said to me. “Hi, I’m Coach Walker and I’m the head coach of fast lane track club, do you know Karimah Davis?”. I looked over to see a tall, athletic, beautiful girl who immediately intimidated me and I suddenly felt like I didn’t belong there as an athlete. Coach Walker didn’t take long to prove me wrong. I was welcomed to the team like family and I look back on those times only remembering laughter (and sometimes burning hamstrings). Coach Walker never lost faith in me even when I lost it in myself and he coached me day in and day out to be where I am now....on a full ride at a private university for track and field. Something I never thought I’d be doing when I first walked out to that fast lane practice. I now run track at Tusculum University in Tennessee and I am blessed enough to now also have the opportunity to walk on the soccer team. I’m doing what I love and getting an education all for free. All because of Coach Walker, I cant stress that enough. He is the best coach I have ever met in my life and I see him as a father figure. He is always there if I need to talk and he never fails to give good advice. Oh yeah and that Karimah girl that intimidated me in the beginning? She is now one of my best friends in life and I can tell her anything. Coach Walker and the fast lane family gave me numerous blessings. From an education, to a collegiate career, to an endless group of friends who I can casually call up to this day. If you’re considering fast lane, please do it. To this day it is the best life decision I’ve ever made. Coach Walker, thank you for everything. |

Since joining FastLane, I medaled twice at the Florida High School State Championships, competed in the Junior Olympics, and received a full ride to a D1 University. Meeting Coach Walker back in 2011 when I was running the 400 and 800 meters I had a hard time believing in myself. In my last semester of high school when I thought I would never be able to go to college because my family couldn't afford it, Walker took me to Birmingham, Alabama to prove myself and fast forward to now I became an undefeated SWAC champion & NCAA All- American runner at Alabama State University. The 'F' in Fast Lane is for FAMILY and the 'L' is for LOVE! |
