Sept 10, 2011 (Time 10AM) vs Cranbury Pirates @ Toomer Field (L 11-4).
The NEW 2011-2012 TERRIERS jumped out to a quick start thanks to Ryan Rodriguez's lead off homerun but we were unable to sustain the momentum to the end. Some sloppy defense led to several unearned runs putting the young Terriers in a hold they couldn't overcome. Matt Rohrman, Zach Grillo and Bobby Kakoleski pitched well in defeat. Tim Carney excelled in centerfield upon his return from surgery.
Lessons Learned: The young Terriers will experience some growing pains as they learn to play together. They will only get better with the more baseball played.
