Watchlist Blue

2016-2019 The Watchlist unofficially began in 2016. 2016 marked a year in which I entered my graduate studies for psychology at Tiffin University. 2016 also marked my 1st year coaching youth girls basketball (3rd Grade). My graduate research began as archival bases research to better understand the underlying constructs that culminate to foreclosing on the sports. Title 9 was a foundational step in providing young women the programing and increased opportunity in sports. A synthesis of research studies assessed the behavioral tendencies of female athletes to foreclose on sports activities due to negative societal attitudes. These negative attitudes create psychological effects that are contributing to the decline in participation (ages 13-16). 2016-2019 I coached 7 local baskteball teams composed of players from the Marion area basketball leagues. Team's in my area are often not able to keep up with the pace of the dominant Columbus & Cincinnatti teams once we arrive down state. In and effort to change that many area families opted to travel to the area's of Ohio most reputable for basketball talent. I accumulated notebooks of plays, scout, & key players from every opponent we ever played against during this time.
Inspired by new smaller platforms for girls youth basketball such as Overtime, The Newmans, Ball is Life & the GBA 2019, I wanted to assist bringing a more journalistic aspect to the GBA Video's & amazing content. The Watchlist was created to provide visual representation that youth Girls Basketball programing in Ohio was younger and growing faster than ever. I then Published my scout as a Platform in which Ohio players could be the focal point. If you happened to play well you were added to the Notebook, which means your name was on my list of players to watch our for if my team plays you. The Watchlist uses Stars and Catagorical references to associate players level that is practical to their 1st goal, stepping foot on the Varsity floor.

Diaper Dandy: This has to do with Stars and Opportunity foreseen. These are my predictions for players that have the best skills for the team needs and could be productive varsity contributors. In High School there are very strong programs where it could be virtually imposible to come in right away and even be on the roster.
2019 GBA Draft: GBA Draft 2019
2020: The All American Watchlist 2028 Class Assembles a team.
Since the time of local hoops I have strategically identified and invited in talented players as early as 5th Grade. These players partake in a
2-3 Month training camp from August - September. This Training camp consists of equally as talented players whom are competing for spots
on the national team but also improving their game against the best players at their positions across the state. These players would then be chosen
on one of two national teams. National teams play in the top Circuit Events across the Midwest including Made Hoops, Ladies Ball, Select Events
& GYBC. Many players you will recognize performed well enough to help attract prominent circuit teams to the MS level. In the Early days the premise
was to assess where the top players in Ohio stacked up against the top players on these popular platforms. I specifically worked with United & Director Jeter to
assure him the lower age demographics did in fact have legit prospects and it wasn't just kid hype. Tenisha Benson (All American Committe Member) has come to
speak at and support the youth as well as other new circuit programs.
There is only one way to find out where the top players in Ohio stack up Nationally.
At this time the only team really going to Made Hoops, Select Events & other top youth circuit events across the country was Cincy Lady Future.
I then created a dream team of Ohio's top players to participate in the Made Hoops Circuit &
other highly touted youth events during the dead AAU period for Ohio.

2025 Marks the first time I will be constructing a full scheduled spring & summer for what I consider to be Official Blue Rosters. The last 5 years I have taken the best players I have idenitified throughout the state of Ohio, and we hunt down some of the winningest programs this side of the United States year to year to evaluate how Ohio's top players stack up on the national scene. As much as I enjoy showcasing new Ohio talent to the world, I have decided to turn to the national scene full time with some of my favorite Watchlist Selections from 2028-2030.
At this time in circuit infancy as young as 7th Grade for the "Elite 40", Nike "Jr. EYBL", PUMA "Next" and the Adidas "Chapters" are all dedicating the resources to attractin the top youth teams in the country. I have personally seen college coaches attending Live Events such as the Clash, Roses Events & the National Event. I have even had Power 5 to Division II schools side line of many of my youth 2028-2030 team's games. There were even more coaches parked at the Elite 40 Circuit courts, I am happy as the program Director to accept our invitation to the Elite for Circuit for Classes 2028-2030.
All players selected rank somwhere in the top 10 players in their Class at their respective positions. My goal developementally is to help the best (North Central Ohio Player's) develop their individual skills and fundamentals neccesary to someday be considered the best at their position in Ohio and with some work Nationally. Below you will find links to official rosters, player profiles, stats & recruiting updates as well as links to social media accounts. Program participants selected from workouts, tryouts and at large invites have been highlighted with the complete rankings. Work ethic will you get player's to the top, not my opinion!
