Let's Talk!

At the moment of delivering the ball, the thrower:
• faces the field of play
• has part of each foot either on the touch line or on the ground
outside the touch line
• holds the ball with both hands
• delivers the ball from behind and over his head
• delivers the ball from the point where it left the field of play
All opponents must stand no less than 2 m (2 yds) from the point at
which the throw-in is taken.
The ball is in play when it enters the field of play.
After delivering the ball, the thrower must not touch the ball again
until it has touched another player.

“I skate to where the puck is going to be, not to where the puck is…” Wayne Gretsky, great hockey player when asked how he scores so many goals.

“You can’t think and hit at the same time.” Yogi Berra (Note from David – this one is wise… don’t think when you need to react)

Ability is what you’re capable of doing.

Motivation determines what you do.

Attitude determines how well you do it.

Fun and Safety

The members of Devine Youth Sports strive to provide a fun and safe environment for the children of our Community to learn new skills and engage in team sports. We appreciate your involvement and thank you for contributing to their positive experiences.

Devine Youth Sports is a non-profit organization committed to providing organized youth recreational sports competitions to all children (ages 3-12) in and around the City of Devine, Texas USA. We currently offer  two soccer seasons, volleyball, flag football and basketball, each "season" lasts about 8-10 weeks and will usually end with a tournament. We believe it is important for them to develop basic skills and fundamentals during weekly matches and then host a tournament so they can showcase what they've learned as a Team.
