The Herriman Youth Baseball Program is run exclusively by volunteers with cooperation from Herriman City. If you are interested in learning more or becoming a board member please use the Contact us link on the home page.
Is Herriman Baseball the same as the Rec Center?
No, Herriman Baseball is not affiliated with the Salt Lake County Recreation Center. If you sign up through them you will not be placed on a Herriman Baseball team.
Can I bring my whole Team to the League?
Herriman Baseball does allow for friends to play together in TeeBall and Rookie Divisions only. PeeWee7 and up only allow for 1 head coach and two assitants to stay together in the Single "A" Division. Triple "AAA" Teams also allow players to stay together but are selected by the coaches during individual team tryouts.
What Division is Right for my Child?
Herriman Baseball Believes in the development of all kids and players. We have a place for all levels of players in our league. The purpose of the Herriman Youth Baseball league is to help kids learn to love the game of baseball by teaching the fundamentals of the game but at the same time offering all level of play depending on the skill level of each child.
TeeBall & Rookie – This is the beginning point for the youngest kids, (TeeBall 3-4, Rookie 5-6 years old). Played with a foam core baseball and hitting from a tee or coach pitch. All kids get the opportunity to hit, field, and score. Hopefully making the experience fun and exciting for both the kids and the parents.
PeeWee 7 – This division is the transition between the beginning phases and the kid pitch divisions for the older children. This is the first opportunity to have true competition with real baseballs and field but still utilizing a pitching machine. The emphasis in this division is on developing key skills in the game of baseball.
PeeWee8 to Majors – Kids are split into three divisions, Single "A", Double "AA", and Triple "AAA". The Single "A" (Rec) division is for players that are either not as skilled or refined in their athletic ability or are starting to learn the game. This is by far the largest division in our program. The Double "AA" division is very fun, competitive, and rewarding for all players, coaches, and parents. It gives some kids an opportunity to play positions that may not be available in other leagues or divisions. The Triple "AAA" Division is for players wanting to compete at the highest level. This division is also referred to as "Super League" or "Travel Baseball"
All 3 divisions offer competition and competitive play with opportunities to play in tournaments and playoffs.
Pony and Colt – These divisions are intended to keep kids playing into the Junior High and High School grades. There are separate divisions offered for these two programs similar to the younger ages. Skill development, competition, and tournament play are available in all of these Divisions.

Can my child play Super League
The Herriman Baseball Super League (Triple "AAA") program is designed for accelerated Baseball Players from the age of 7 and up. Players are selected by a tryout usually held in August to September. The Super League allows for much more advanced play. The games are played against other super league teams from around the state. Games are played in all parts of Utah and surrounding states. Players are chosen solely by the coaches.
