The Cowboys opened the season with a strong defensive performance, beating the Giants 19-0. The Cowboys are the only undefeated team in the division now, and with only one game played, have moved into first place.

Practice began today for the 2009 Marshall Cowboys 11 & 12 year old football team. The team has a week and half to get ready for the season opener. There is a lot of work to be done in a short amount of time. The Cowboys should have a solid team and should challenge for the league championship.
