Subscribe to our NewsletterRookie, Nick Harris, gets and offer from the Phillies
Anthony Solari, and the Phillies, have released that they have offered a contract to top rookie, Nick Harris. The offer consists of a two year deal with a player option until 2022, a club option until 2025, and a both option until 2030. I asked him how he would feel about an offer and he said, “Amazing, I guess!” Then, I asked him how he would feel about an offer coming from the legendary manager, Anthony Solari, and he said, “Amazing because he lives right across the street from me.” Then, I asked him if he heard any rumors of him getting signed by a team and he said, “No. Absolutely not.” Then, he read this interview and was shocked by the news! Congratulations to top rookie, Nick Harris, on his offer by the best team (on paper) in the league!
Phillies manager is happy with what his team has to bring to the table (Solari)
Anthony Solari, manager of the 2019 Phillies, says he's really happy and excited to see what him and his team has to bring to the table in the 2019 season. With the best record in Spring Training, they are the team to beat this season. I asked him what he likes best about his squad going into the season and he said, "What is there not to like about my squad. Sorry to answer your question with a question but we got the personality, we got the talent, we got the ability, we got everything and I'm really looking forward to what my team has to bring to the table this year." I, then, asked him what his projected Opening Day lineup would be and he said, " I'm not sure yet because our squad has a lot of different pieces to it and we could find a way to win somehow. I'm thinking having a speedy guy batting first so he can get on base and start us off right like Alex Camp. Then, I would say a contact and power bat will bat second, like myself. Then, I would have a power bat, like Bryan Nelson, batting third. And then, I would have another speedy guy but hits for contact batting last, like Anthony Winn. So I would go Alex Camp batting first, me batting second, Bryan Nelson batting third, and Anthony Winn batting fourth." Then, I decided to ask him about his pitching rotation and how it has a lot of strengths and weaknesses and I asked him what his rotation would be and what each guys strengths and weaknesses are and he said, "Wow. These are some really good questions you have for me today. I think I would have myself pitch first, Alex Camp pitch second, Bryan Nelson pitch third, and Anthony Winn pitching last. Now, we have a lot of strengths in this rotation but there's more weaknesses as every team will find out they all have. Even I have weaknesses of my own pitching first in my pitching rotation. My strengths are that I pound the zone, I throw hard, I'm very accurate, and I have almost ten pitches. My weaknesses are that I play high school baseball for two teams and if I pitch for those or need to pitch for those, they come first so I might not be able to pitch for wiffleball just so I can pitch for high school baseball. Alex Camp's strengths are that he has a wacky windup so he can throw some people off. His weaknesses are that he gets tired really fast and he tends to go wild with his pitching when he's tired and he also works so sometimes he won't be able to make any games. Bryan Nelson's strengths are that he his determined to do whatever he needs to do to make this team a winning team and if pitching is one of them, he'll do it. His weaknesses are that this is his first time ever pitching competitively and he's nervous to pitch but we need that extra arm in the rotation. And finally, Anthony Winn's strengths are that he is also determined to make my team a winning team. He just wants to get out there and play and hopefully win a game for us. His weaknesses are that he's not much of a pitcher but he'll try his best to pound the zone and throw some strikes." Then, I asked him about the power rankings and I told him that his team is currently first place in the power rankings so far this week. I asked him what this meant to him and if this will continue throughout the season, and he said, "This means a lot to me especially since we haven't played a game yet and we are already projected to be the best team in the league. We can't go into games like that, though, because we can't underestimate our opponents or they will come in and beat us every single time and we would be one of the worst teams in the league and we don't want that. I hope this will stay throughout the year but if it doesn't, that's fine. We will keep working and our only goal since Spring Training, and it's the same goal as every other team in this league, and that's to win the World Series and raise a banner up for our team and get our team some World Series rings." Then, I asked him if he thinks his team could win the World Series or go far into the playoffs and he said, "I think we have the talent and attitude to win the World Series but we just got to see what happens during the season while we play our hearts out in these regular season games this season." Then, my final question I asked him was what he was going to do if his team won the World Series and he said, "I would spend time with my players. We all would've won it together and we all had a major impact on this team and the least we can do is celebrate together since we would've won that trophy, banner, ring, etc. together." As you all can see, Phillies manager, Anthony Solari, is really excited and happy to see what his team has to bring to the table this year! I am, too, to be honest!
Kai Pesce has been traded (Solari)
Happy Easter everyone! We are about to start your Easter with some news in the New Jersey Wiffleball League (NJWBL). Late in January or February, Kai Pesce signed a contract with the Phillies, led by Anthony Solari. Today, Kai Pesce has been traded to the Orioles for a first round draft pick and a second round draft pick. With this trade, the Orioles got a good player and the Phillies got two more draft picks. They wish Kai Pesce the best of luck but he says that this league is a "business" and it just need to be done. Hopefully this goes well for both teams!
WE ARE BACK!!!! (Solari)
We are back everyone! We will have daily articles starting today. Sorry we stopped the daily articles. It was because the founder of the league and the person who runs this page, Anthony Solari, was really busy with baseball and school work so there was no wiffleball games yet. But there will be some wiffleball games coming soon! If Anthony Solari can't make it to wiffleball games, then another comissioner will try to be there or we will have to cancel some games if no commissioners can make it. Thanks again for sticking with us through these busy times and thanks for all of the support!
Another Week of Wiffleball Canceled (Solari)
Spring Training is up and going but the shocking thing is that there were no Spring Training games yet. That's because of the attendance. The first day of Spring Training, two people came to the games and they were Anthony Solari and Brandon Lutes so they had their own wiffleball practice to get ready for the Spring Training games coming next weekend. Then, that next weekend comes along and no one was available so it got canceled all together and the same thing happened for the next three weeks as commissioner, Anthony Solari, couldn't make it to any games for a week because of baseball and school work so those got canceled. Then, the following weekend, the field got wet and slippery because of the snow and rain we had throughout the week so those got canceled. Then, last weekend comes around and no one showed up so, once again, it got canceled all together. Now, this weekend comes around and only two people are going to show up and they were commissioners, Anthony Solari and Alex Camp. I am hoping and I am certain that once the regular season and summer time comes around that we will have much better attendance.
Finally! Some more trade rumors! (Solari)
Finally! For the first time since the month of January, we finally have some more trade rumors! It is still rumored that Ryan Bollinger can get traded this season. They want to save him for the trade deadline so they can get the best deal that they can get. Anthony Solari and the Buccaneers are rumored to trade Kai Pesce somewhere and they want to pull the trigger on a deal fast. It is also rumored that Ryan Faircloth and Matt Lutes could both be traded around trade deadline time on July 31, 2019 at 4:00pm EST. Justin Cardamone and the Vikings said that they're thinking about trading Ben Powell somewhere this season while he still has potential to bring in big things like good draft picks and they want to pull the trigger on a trade sometime soon before his prime is over and he's not worth anything. Last but definitely not least, Brandon Lutes and the Knights was thinking about trading both, Jennifer Sommers and Zack Branca, sometime this season. He wants to pull the trigger on a trade for Jennifer Sommers fast but they said that they will take their time with pulling the trigger on a trade for Zack Branca. That was all of current trade rumor news!

Just as we all speak, the regular season schedule is being worked on by head commissioner, Anthony Solari. The schedule said it will definitely be released before the middle of Spring Training. He's thinking it'll be posted between February 29 and March 14 as of right now. Good luck to all teams this year! Heather Daisey has made history today!
Heather Daisey has made New Jersey Wiffleball League (NJWBL) history today. She is the first NJWBL player to get permanently banned from the league! She has been permanently banned for cruel comments towards commissioners, Bryan Nelson and Brandon Lutes. Bryan Nelson and Brandon Lutes were offended by her comments. Bryan Nelson, "I was so offended by her comments. Nobody with comments like these should not be in this league!" I 100% agree with Bryan Nelson here and I voted for her to be permanently banned from the league!
Kai Pesce finally signs a contract offer!
The Bryce Harper or Manny Machado situation has ended! Rookie star, Kai Pesce has officially signed a 12-year deal with a player option until 2036 and a club option for life with the Buccaneers. The Buccaneers just got more talent.

Talented rookie, Pesce, has still yet to sign a contract! (Solari)
This has really turned into a Manny Machado or Bryce Harper situation now. It's been two and a half to three weeks and talented rookie, Kai Pesce, has yet to sign a contract with any team. He keeps on racking offers up until he sees one he likes, like MLB stars, Manny Machado (played for the Orioles and the Dodgers) and Bryce Harper (played for the Nationals). We are comparing Kai Pesce to big name MLB Baseball players, like Bryce Harper and Manny Machado because he is talented in wiffleball and he is still waiting for the best offer to sign. This is something to look out for until the deadline for signing contracts, which is February 14 (the day before Spring Training begins)!. Everyone keep an eye out for news about rookie, Kai Pesce!
Meet the Staff of our wonderful league! (Solari)
1. Anthony Solari=Commissioner, Player for the Buccaneers, and Manager for the Buccaneers
2. Bryan Nelson=Co-Commissioner, Player for the Buccaneers, and Assistant Coach for the Buccaneers
3. Zack Branca=Co-Commissioner and Player for the Knights
4. Alex Camp=Co-Commissioner and Player for the Buccaneers
5. Brandon Reiter=Co-Commissioner and Player for the Vikings
6. Brandon Lutes=Co-Commissioner, Player for the Knights, and Manager for the Knights
Can this be another Bryce Harper or Manny Machado situation in wiffleball? (Solari)
Kai Pesce is a very talented player that has yet to sign a contract offer from all of the teams and he's still in free agency. Could this be another Bryce Harper or Manny Machado situation with Kai Pesce in wiffleball? Bryce Harper and Manny Machado are both very talented players that play Major League Baseball (MLB) and they both have a whole lot of contract offers from a lot of teams but, even though they're sure where they want to go, they have yet to sign a contract offer and this is what Kai Pesce is doing in the New Jersey Wiffleball League (NJWBL). The Buccaneers offered him an 13-year deal with a player option until 2036, a both option until 2043, and a club option for life. The Vikings offered him a 5-year deal. The Spartans offered him a 3-year deal with a player option until 2029, a both option until 2031, and a club option until 2035. The Knights offered him a 8-year deal with a player option until 2047. If i were him, I would go with the Buccaneers because they gave him the best offer but he could go with literally anybody. This is something the New Jersey Wiffleball League (NJWBL) community will have to follow this for a very long time until Spring Training in about a month and a half. This will definitely be another Bryce Harper or Manny Machado situation with Kai Pesce in wiffleball, in my opinion!
There is a new rule change about the independent league!
There's a new rule regarding the independent league. There will now be no more independent league. Each team can now sign up to 8 players. Instead of an independent league and getting drafted from there, each team will have a minor league team and there will still be a Rule 5 Draft and a First Year Player Draft but as soon as you get too many players, you must trade or release them where they can be signed out of free agency or be drafted in the First Year Player Draft of the following year. The new Rule 5 Draft rules are that the only ppl eligible are players in the minor league system. No MLB players will be eligible and some players on the 7-man roster will not be eligible. The person who isn't on the 7-man roster is eligible and any other minor leaguer the manager chooses to be eligible. Any players released or not drafted will be sent back to their former and respective teams. Not every team is required to draft a pleyer but if you skip one selection, then you skip all the rest of the selections. Thanks for all of you this applies to and let's have a great first season as a league!!!!
Recently Released Branca is resigning with the Knights along with Rookie Sommers
Brandon Lutes and the new team, the Knights, officially signed recently released Zack Branca to a 5-year deal without a player, club, or both option. He was released on New Years Day and now, just last night, he is signed again by the Knights. Brandon Lutes and the Knights also signed rookie Jennifer Sommers to a 4-year deal without a player, club, or both option. They are both very talented players on the field and will help a newly created team like the Knights. They formed just last night after Brandon Lutes was released by the Vikings! The only other free agent left is Kai Pesce who all four teams have offers for. The Buccaneers offered Kai a 11-year deal with a player option until 2031, a both option until 2033, and a club option until 2045. The Vikings offered him a 3-year deal without a player, club, or both option. The Spartans offered him a 9-year deal with a player option until 2034. And the newly created team, the Knights, offered him a 7-year deal with a club option until 2031. The rankings for getting him are...
1. Buccaneers
2. Spartans
3. Knights
4. Vikings
But it's all up to him at this point!
Recently Acquired Branca is released
Justin Cardamone and the Vikings have officially announced that recently acquired Zack Branca has been placed on unconditional release waivers and he will be officially released and off waivers by January 4, 2019 at 4:00pm. This is due to the Vikings having too many players on their roster so Zack Branca will play in the independent league this season and maybe get signed next year or drafted this year, who knows? He's good but it's because of roster space that he will start the season down in the independent league. We will see what happens from there, I guess!
Rookie Branca officially signs with the Vikings
Rookie Zack Branca officially signs a contract with Justin Cardamone and the Vikings. He signed a contract for 2-years with a club option until 2027. The only problem with this is that Justin Cardamone now has the same issue Anthony Solari had a couple hours ago. He has too many players on his roster. He has to release or trade someone. We will see what happens now I guess. He has five players and the roster limit for the regular season is four players. He now just signed Branca to make four players but then he just traded for Brandon Lutes so we will see what happens.
Rookie B. Lutes traded to the Vikings
The Buccaneers, led by Anthony Solari, have successfully and officially accepted a trade offer from the Justin Cardamone and the Vikings. In this trade, the Buccaneers get a first round draft pick. Also in this trade, the Vikings get rookie Brandon Lutes. Brandon Lutes is a very talented player picked up originally from Anthony Solari and the Buccaneers. Solari made a horrible mistake and it caused him to trade Brandon Lutes. He accidentally signed too many players to his team so they were forced to trade away Brandon Lutes. Anthony Solari says that he feels bad for Brandon {Lutes} and that he made a horrible mistake.
Trade Rumors to start the new year (Solari)
1. Ryan Faircloth to the Vikings for Ben Powell and a second round draft pick
2. Ryan Faircloth and a second round draft pick to the Vikings for Matt Lutes
3. Brandon Lutes to the Spartans for Ryan Ryan Bollinger and a first round draft pick
4. Alex Camp to the Vikings for Ben Powell and a first round draft pick
5. Brandon Reiter to the Buccaneers for Alex Camp and a second round draft pick
6. Matt Lutes to the Buccaneers for a second round draft pick
7. Brandon Reiter to the Buccaneers for a first round draft pick and a second round draft pick
8. Brandon Reiter and a first round draft pick to the Spartans for Ryan Bollinger, Ryan Faircloth, and a second round draft pick
Ryan Bollinger officially signs with Vikings
Surprisingly, rookie, Ryan Bollinger, has officially signed a 2-year deal with a player option unil 2025 with the Vikings, led by Justin Cardamone. The best offer that was up to him was with the Spartans, led Matt Solari, but I think he didn't want to be locked into that long of a contract. He wanted a shorter contract probably and he signed with the Vikings, instead of the Spartans.
Rookie, Faircloth, signs with Spartans (Solari)
Rookie, Ryan Faircloth, officially signs a contract with Matt Solari and the Spartans. The contract gives Faircloth a 2-year deal with a player option until 2025. This will really help the Spartans out because now the only free agent left is Ryan Bollinger. Both, Matt Solari and the Spartans and Justin Cardamone and the Vikings, have an offer up for Ryan Bollinger so I don't know how this one will pan out but it's going to be an interesting couple of days.
Rookie, B. Lutes, signs with the Bucs
Rookie, Brandon Lutes, officially signs a contract with the Buccaneers. The contract is 12-years with a player option until 2033 and a club option until 2044. This makes Anthony Solari and the Buccaneers even better than they are already. The add more depth but of course one guy must go when regular season comes along so maybe trade someone for some draft picks or some players to release and play for the independent league affiliated with us. But I guess we will find out when regular season comes along.
Free Agent Offers out right now
Ryan Bollinger
-Buccaneers have no offer
-Vikings offer 2-year deal with a player option until 2026
-Spartans offer 5-year deal with a player option until 2031 and a club option until 2037
Ryan Faircloth
-Buccaneers have no offer
-Vikings offer 1-year deal with a club option until 2023
-Spartans offer 2-year deal with a player option until 2025
Brandon Lutes
-Buccaneers offer 12-year deal with a player option until 2033 and a club option until 2044
-Vikings offer 4-year deal
-Spartans offer 6-year deal with a club option until 2027
The best team for Ryan Bollinger would be the Spartans. The best team for Ryan Faircloth would be the Spartans. And the best team for Brandon Lutes would be the Buccaneers.
Matt Solari creates and manages new team
Matt Solari has decided to add a new team to the league, called the Spartans. He decided to make the Spartans a team because the league had enough players to have another team. He is looking at key free agents, Ryan Faircloth, Brandon Lutes, and Ryan Bollinger to make it a full regular season team.
Official prospect rankings after new players join league
1. Anthony Solari (Buccaneers)
2. Brandon Reiter (Vikings)
3. Bryan Nelson (Buccaneers)
4. Alex Camp (Buccaneers)
5. Justin Cardamone (Vikings)
6. Brandon Lutes (Free Agent)
7. Ryan Faircloth (Free Agent)
8. Ryan Bollinger (Free Agent)
9. Anthony Winn (Buccaneers)
10. Ben Powell (Vikings)
11. Matt Solari (Spartans)
Rookie Camp surprised during interview (Solari)
I just did an interview with rookie Alex Camp and he was surprised by who would become his new manager for the Buccaneers, Anthony Solari. In the interview, I asked him how he feels about being in the league and he said, "I feel good. It's a great opportunity to play some wiffleball." Then, I asked him if he was going to sign with any teams this offseason and he said, "I'm still waiting right now. I like the Buccaneers the most but the Vikings do look intriguing. I'm not 100% committed to either as of right now." Then, I asked him for his opinions on the league and he said, "I think it's a good league. I think it needs some time to develop and see what happens but otherwise I like it and I think it's a good idea." Then, I asked him how he would describe himself in the clubhouse and/or on the practice and/or playing field and he said, "I am very energetic and uplifting when my teammates need me. I'm also helpful and positive. I say I give great advice and has a vast amount of knowledge about life and the sport we love to play." Then, I asked him what his playing style is and he said, "I am a moderate play player but I can be aggressive, if necessary." Then, I asked him when he means aggressive does he mean he agrees with swinging at the first pitch and throwing at batters and he said, "I don't agree with hitters swinging at everything. Just focus and swing at the right pitch." Then, I asked him to order the skill sets in order from which one he does best to the one he does the worst in, between speed, contact, power, defense, and pitching, and he said, "The best offesne. Defense needs a little bit of work. Pitching, I'm good, power's great, contact's good, and speed is great." Then, I asked him how many World Series rings he will win in his entire career and he said, "I'm not sure. Only God knows." Then, I asked him how he feels about the Buccaneers offering him a contract literally 30 seconds after I asked this question, as the manager of the Buccaneers walks in, and he said, "That sounds good to me! I'd love to be on Anthony Solari's team!" Then, I let the manager, Anthony Solari ask Alex Camp a few questions. He asked him what his opinions on the offer are and he said, "It sounds good! I'm going to have to sit and think for a couple of days on that." Then, I asked him where he would rank himself 1-8 out of all the players in the league and he said, "One. Maybe three." Then, I turned to the manager of the Buccaneers, Anthony Solari, and asked him if he had any other questions for him and he said, "Yes I do. One more." Then, he said to him, "Alex Camp, would you be interested in signing with us with a 4-year deal with a player option until 2025 and a club option until 2035? We really need you. It would be an absolute honor to have you on this wiffleball team." Then, he said, "Contract accepted. I'm glad to be a key part of the Buccaneers organization." Well, who doesn't want a wiffleball player, like Alex Camp? He's nice, he cares for his teammates who calls him a friend, he's nice to the fans, he's nice to the coaches, he's nice to have around, and he's a great overall player. His decency is what's key to success because then, you have more people by your side. Thanks for letting me do this interview with you and letting me surprise you during it, Alex Camp.
Rookie Powell signs with the Vikings
Just a few minutes ago, Justin Cardamone offered rookie Ben Powell a contract of 2-years with a club option until 2024. Then, a few seconds ago, Ben Powell quickly accepted the offer and is now the newest member of the Vikings led by Justin Cardamone. The Vikings will be good competition now when they play Anthony Solari and the Buccaneers.
Matt Solari goes back to Cali today
Matt Solari, a player in the league and uncle of rookie sensation, goes back to Los Angeles, California, which is where he lives full-time. He is not certain of when he will be back but most likely before or around Easter time. His flight leaves from Atlantic City International Airport at 4:30-4:45 EST and he will be back in Los Angeles International Airport at *:00-8:30 Pacific. He will also be down for the very end of the playoffs in October or November.
Will Brandon Reiter be as productive as he says? (Solari)
Brandon Reiter lives in Florida and he claims he might be one of the most productive player in this league but he is he really going to be the most productive player in the league? In an interview with Brandon Reiter, I asked him how he feels about the trade to the Vikings and he said, "I feel that it was a good move for the Buccaneers, saying they traded a player who wouldn't show up for many of the games, but what was the Vikings manager {Justin Cardamone} thinking? Trading away a player sure to show up and a second round draft pick for a player who almost never will show up. I mean, I would call it a successful trade for the Buccaneers until I show up!" Then, I asked him how he feels about being in the New Jersey Wiffleball League, despite living in Florida and he said, "I feel that I will be very productive for my new team for the games I am there." Then, I asked him how he would describe himself in the clubhouse and on the practice or playing field and he said, "Unique. Smooth. Kind. Friendly. There are a lot of words that could be used to describe me." Then, I asked him what his playing style is and he said, "I am an aggressive player, but my plays always turn out good in the end." Then, I asked him the follow-up question of "Since you're such an aggressive player, do you agree with swinging at the first pitch and throwing at batters you don't want to face in a certain situation." And he said, "I don't throw at batters. That just isn't me. I face batters like a man. I do agree with swinging at the first pitch if it's a strike 100%. If it's a strike, then swing." Then, I asked him what his skill sets are in order from which one he does best to the one which he does the worst and he said, "1. contact, 2. speed, 3. power, 4. pitching, and 5. defense. But don't any of them out because I can do them all really good." Then, I asked him how many rings he thinks he will win with the Vikings over the course of his wiffleball career and he said, "Most likely 2-3 rings over my career, maybe more. Who knows?" Then, I asked him to rank himself 1-7 out of all the players in the whole league and he said, "I might be a bit bold to say number one, but I am already ranked officially as the number one overall prospect". The funny thing was that he's actually the number two ranked overall prospect behind rookie sensation, Anthony Solari. Then, I asked him what he would do if the Vikings released him to have him play for the independent wiffleball league affiliated with us so he can get drafted or signed to a new contract and he said, "I wouldn't be so happy about that, to say the least." Then, I asked him why not and he said, "Because as the number one to number two overall prospect, I feel the move would have been without thinking." Brandon Reiter is really confident that he deserves to be the number one overall prospect but the league thinks Anthony Solari is a little bit better than Brandon Reiter. He is also confident in him being the most productive player in the league but the league thinks he can't be that productive since he will barely show up to game because he lives down in Florida. The final rankings for the top 7 overall prospects, voted on by the league, as of right now, are,...
1. Anthony Solari
2. Brandon Reiter
3. Bryan Nelson
4. Justin Cardamone
5. Alex Camp
6. Anthony Winn
7. Matt Solari
Bryan Nelson excited for what his team can bring and do (Solari)
Bryan Nelson is very excited for his team has to bring and can do. In an interview with Bryan Nelson, I asked him how he feels about being in the league and he said, "I feel great. I think it is going to be a huge success." Then, I asked him if the Buccaneers added a "no trade clause" to his contract, would he take it and he said, "Yes, I want to be on the same team as my good friend, Anthony Solari." Then, I told him about the reports of them adding a "no trade clause" to his contract. Then, I asked him his opinions on the league and he said, "My opinion on the league is I think we should see how far it goes and see what a success it's going to be." Then, I asked him how he would describe himself in the clubhouse and on the practice and playing field and he said, "I am pretty good. I wouldn't say I am a great player but I describe myself as a person who will get better as the time goes by. I will practice hard and on the field, I will give it 110%." Then, I told him how the Buccaneers have the best coaching staff in the league and he said, "I am sure the staff will be great. Our team will be a huge success." Then, I asked him how he felt about the trade yesterday and he said, "Cool. I feel good about it. We got a decent prospect, in Anthony Winn, and a second round draft pick so our team is almost all set." The, I asked him if he knew that I did that trade to benefit both Bryan Nelson and Anthony Winn and he said, "Mna, I love Anthony Winn. He's my man. Did you know I help him out with his hitting on the side? Now with both of us coaching him, we will be a super team. Anthony Winn is such a good guy to have in the clubhouse and a great teammate. He is cool to hang around and picks his teammates up when they need him most. I love Anthony Winn and I think he will fit in just right in this league." Then, I asked him what his playing style is and he said, "Moderate. More like in between aggressive and conservative." Then, I asked him order the skill sets power, contact, speed, pitching, and defense in order of which one he does best to worst, and he said, "1. power, 2. contact, 3. speed, 4. defense, 5. pitching. But I'm 100% willing to pitch if you need me to." Then, I asked him how many World Series rings he thinks he will win with the Buccaneers and he said, "I'm hoping for at least four but maybe more who knows." Then, I told him with you and the Buccaneers, I'm thinking you guys win a solid 8-10 rings. Then, he said, "With 10 rings, that's one for each finger. We will see what happens. I have a feeling it's going to turn out good." Then, I asked him to rank himself 1-7 out of all the players in the league so far and he said, "I'm going to try to be modest so I'm going to say a 6 out of 7." Then, I told him that he was actually ranked number three. Then, he asked me how many games we will have and I said, "We will have 35 Spring Training Games from the middle of February to the end of March. Then, we will have 162 regular season games from the end of March to the end of September or the beginning of October. Then, we will have a World Series, unless we have enough to get another team. In that case, we will do a full playoffs." Then, he said, "I think we are going to have a very successful season this year." As you can see, Bryan Nelson is the man. He can play hard, he can play good, he cares about his teammates and coaches, and cares about the game and his team's success. Hae is the player you want to have but only one team can have him and that's the Buccaneers as of right now.
Official Player Rankings Predicitions are in and why (Solari)
Here are the rankings of the top overall prospects as of right now...
1. Anthony Solari=Although he made the league, players think he will be the best because of his power and pitching stats in earlier wiffleball leagues
2. Brandon Reiter=Although he lives in Florida and doesn't come up as much, he is a really talented wiffleball player down in Florida as I watch him play over FaceTime on the iPhone
3. Bryan Nelson=Although he has been prone to injuries as of right now, he will be a very talented wiffleball player for the Buccaneers
4. Justin Cardamone=Although he is not a power bat, he is a contact hitter that has a decent amount of speed and defense
5. Alex Camp=Although he has yet to sign a contract with a team, I think he will be a very talented wiffleball player for whatever team he signs with
6. Anthony Winn=Although he is a very average player, he will improve drastically while he is on a team with the best coaching staff in the league in the Buccaneers
7. Matt Solari=Although he lives in California, he is a pretty decent defensive player and can hit for contact and one and a while hit a home run over the fence
Negatives for each player
1. Anthony Solari=He gets really busy with baseball and camps and vacations over the summer but gets heated up come playoff time.
2. Brandon Reiter=He lives in Florida and only comes up to New Jersey once or twice and some years not at all so that's why he is signed to a very long contract
3. Bryan Nelson=He is very prone to injuries as he is dealing with a knee injury now but I think he will be fine come Spring Training and the regular season
4. Justin Cardamone=He can't make all games because he is going to college at ACCC but when he does he doesn't really hit for power. He hits for contact if anything
5. Alex Camp=He might not make every game due to work but when he does he has good contact, speed, defense, decent power, but is not much of a pitcher but can pitch if needed desperately
6. Anthony Winn=He gets very distracted sometimes but otherwise he is a good player that will become better and more focused with the best coaching staff in the league
7. Matt Solari=He lives all the way in California but he also comes up 2-5 times a year and when he does come he has good defense, contact, decent power, decent pitching, and ok speed
Matt Solari is just happy to be playing ball (Solari)
Matt Solari, who just recently signed up for the league says he's really just happy to be playing ball with a very good league. In an interview with Solari, I asked him how he is feeling about participating in the league and he said, "I am super excited to be working with such talented players and coaches and under the great, Anthony Solari." Then, I asked him if he was interested in any teams and he said, "I want to join whatever team Anthony Solari is running because I feel like I can learn a lot from him because he's a lot better than me. I'd rather learn from someone better than me than be the best on a team." The, I asked him how he would feel if the Vikings offered him a contract and he said, "I would be excited to play for any team. I'm just happy to play for this amazing league." Then, I asked him how he would feel if he played for the independent wiffleball league that is affiliated with us until draft day when someone can draft him, even though him playing in the independent wiffleball league affiliated with us is not going to happen, and he said, "I would do it so I can play and to get drafted would be even cooler than getting a random contract offer and signing it." Then, I asked him what if he doesn't get drafted and he said, "I would still play in the independent league to get better until I can get drafted or get signed to a contract." Then, I asked him for his opinions on this league and he said, "I think the whole league, in general, was a great idea and has great potential. With lots of hard work and dedication, I think the league will experience a big growth in popularity and talent." Then, I asked him what his ideal contract offer would be and he said, "I would like 3-5 years with a player option until 2028." Then, I asked him how he would describe himself in the clubhouse and/or on the practice or playing field and he said, "In the clubhouse, I would try to get along with everyone and on the field, I'm a really decent defensive player." Then, I asked him what his playing style is, between aggressive, moderate, and conservative, and he said, "I'm more of a moderate player. I like the be aggressive sometimes but other times, I like to be a conservative player. It just depends on the situation I'm in." Then, I asked him what his best skill sets are and he said, "1. contact, 2. defense, 3. speed, 4. power, and 5. pitching." Then, I asked him how many World Series rings he thinks he will win with whatever team he goes with and he said, "If we are lucky, maybe one ring will be fine because those are really hard to get." Then, the last question I asked him was out of all seven players in the league, where would you rank yourself and he said, "I am a solid number three behind Brandon Reiter, who is number one, and Anthony Solari, who is number two."Coaches are going to love a player like Matt Solari because he just loves to play ball no matter what team he's on.
Cardamone happy with where team is going (Solari)
In an interview last night, into this morning with Justin Cardamone, I asked him if he was ready to take on the managing role for the Vikings and he said, "Yes. I'm ecstatic to be coaching the Vikings." Then, I asked him if he was going to sign any key free agents to contracts or if the Buccaneers should make their World Series pennant and rings now and he said, "I don't know. I might. I mean we will see what happens if I can. Some guys we might have a chance to get from free agency." Then, I asked him if he was interested in Anthony Winn, Brandon Reiter, and/or Alex Camp and he said, "Well, yeah. I mean I would because Winn, Alex {Camp}, and Brandon {Reiter} are all good players with great talent. I feel that if they want to be on my team, then I'll take them." Then, I asked him about the reports that Brandon Reiter might be signing with the Buccaneers (which ended up happening) and how he felt about it because he had an offer up for him and he said, "I mean, if he does, it's fine but I don't know. We will see." Then, I asked him if he had both Alex Camp and Anthony Winn on his team, how he thinks they would do against Anthony Solari and the Buccaneers and he said, "It would be awesome having both but I don't know. If they don't want to play with me, then, I don't know. Maybe tell them to sign with me because I need a team and I don't know." Then, I asked him if he needed my help because I offered him assistance if he became the manager of the Vikings and he said, "Yes, because I need it, too, because I don't have any friends that play or have played wiffleball before." Then, I told him that I would text Anthony Winn and Alex Camp. Then, Anthony Winn ended up signing a contract with him right away. Then, I asked him how many World Series championships he thinks his team will win and he said, "I don't know. I mean we will see what the future holds for February because with me going to college at ACCC, I don't know how much time I'm going to have on my hands." Then, I asked him what his coaching style is or what he does as a manager that other managers or coaches might not do and he said, "I mean, if I have the time, I might be able to do it but I don't know if I have a substitute manager that might work, in case I don't show up, but I honestly don't know right now." Then, I asked him again what his coaching style is and he said, "Oh, good question. I say aggressive because when I was in high school, I was always aggressive so I'll say my style is aggressive as I'm trying to make my team win games and see what happens from there." Then, I asked him if he agrees with swinging at the first pitch and throwing at batters since he is aggressive and he said, "Well, I mean I'm going to let one through two hitters use contact and then let three and four use their power." Then, I asked him again if he agrees with swinging at the first pitch and throwing at batters to be more aggressive and he said, "Maybe. I don't know. It's whatever the players feel like doing. I'm just the one who is in the background, making roster moves and things like that. I just do what I want and I let my players do their thing when it comes to gametime." Then, I asked him how he feels about Brandon Reiter officially signing a 6-year deal with the Buccaneers and he said, "Well, I mean, It's fine I guess. Wished we would've got him but there's still some really good and talented key free agents in the market." Then, I asked him how he felt about him officially signing Anthony Winn to a 1-year deal with his team and he said, "It sounds good. I mean we are teammates, after all, for softball. He is good to have as a teammate. I have known Winn for years and he's close enough that we communicate really well together." Then, I asked him his opinion on Anthony Winn in the clubhouse and the practice field and he said, "I mean, over the years he's worked really hard to get to where he is today but sometimes he loses concentration and focus and he keeps taking huge swings to try to hit a home run every at bat but if I can fix some of those flaws, then, I think we will have a really good season and might even compete with Anthony Solari and the Buccaneers." Then, I asked him how hard he wants his team to work and practice during this offseason and he said, "I want them to work every day in the gym to get in shape and keep going onto the practice field and doing batting practice and pitching work and fielding ground balls and fly balls and go play ball like we did for softball and baseball like we do on my team. Bryan and I were softball team captains this year and we know how we do this. We have been doing this for years. I'm going into my 11th season and next season he's going to be in his 20th season and anyway, let's get to work." Then, I informed him that the Buccaneers have texted me and told me that they have offered a trade to the Vikings and I told him how it benefits both sides. Then, I asked him, if he got a good player for a good prospect and how the Buccaneers will get the good prospect and he would be getting the good player and he said, "That's fine with me." Then, I told him that the Buccaneers want Top 5 prospect, Anthony Winn and a 1st round draft pick for speed threat Brandon Reiter. I also told him that Brandon Reiter can help ur team, talent-wise, a lot. Anthony Winn also wants to be on the same team as his hitting coach, Bryan Nelson. He said, "I mean, I really don't want to trade Winn because he's my teammate for softball but I'll take Brandon {Reiter} to benefit him as well as your team." Then, I asked him how he felt about the trade and he said, "It's fine I guess." Then, I asked him his opinions on the trade and he said, "I mean, Winn is my teammate but if he wants to be with you and Bryan to help him with things he needs help in, then, that's fine. I want to benefit him along with your team. And if that does it, then I'll go with it." Then, I asked him how he thinks he team will do after this trade happened and he said, "It's really fine. I think we will be okay. It will be a learning year for us but I think we will still be really good." Then, I asked him if he thinks this trade will effect his team in anyway, positively or negatively, and why or why not. He said, "No. Not really. I think if we play our ballgame, then, we should be fine. It's not having the best players. It's about how well they play and how hard they work." Then, I asked him if he thinks he won or lost the trade and why or why not. He said, "No. I don't think we lost this trade. I think I got a good player in return for Anthony {Winn} and the draft pick." Then, I asked him what he thinks Brandon Reiter's best features and skill sets are between speed, power, defense, pitching, and/or contact and he said, "I don't know yet. I guess we will see in Spring Training. But he's going to have to show me his skill sets." In my opinion, I think Justin Cardamone and the Vikings are 100% ready for the season and the competition they will be facing but I don't think they will be that good compared to Anthony Solari and the Buccaneers but we will see I guess.
Bucs and Vikings struck a deal
Justin Cardamone successfully accepted a trade offer from Anthony Solari and the Buccaneers. In this trade, Justin Cardamone of the Vikings got the "younger Billy Hamilton" also known as Brandon Reiter. Also in this trade, Anthony Solari of the Buccaneers got a talented prospect named Anthony Winn. This trade benefits both sides, really. Justin Cardamone of the Vikings got a very talented overall player and plays well in all skill sets and categories. Anthony Solari and the Buccaneers got a prospect that can improve with the talented coaching staff the Buccaneers have in Anthony Solari as the manager and head coach and Bryan Nelson as the assistant coach and hitting coach. It turns out that Bryan Nelson has been helping Anthony Winn on the side with hitting and in other key skill sets. I think with the Buccaneers help, he will be one heck of a wiffleball player with one heck of a wiffleball career.
Trade rumors about Anthony Winn and Brandon Reiter speculating
There are trade rumors speculating between the Vikings and Anthony Winn and the Buccaneers and Brandon Reiter. The trade will bring Brandon Reiter to a team {Vikings} who need some help with defense, speed, and power and it will also bring Anthony Winn to the same team (Buccaneers} as the person he works on hitting with on the side {Bryan Nelson}. It will definitely benefit both sides and it will be predicted to be finalized within the next two or three days but it could even happen tonight. Although Anthony Winn is teammates for softball with both Bryan Nelson and Justin Cardamone, he would rather come to the Buccaneers in the trade for the coaching help by Bryan Nelson and Anthony Solari without being known and classified as a traitor by his teammates, which I doubt would happen but we have to be sure.
OFFICIAL: Anthony Winn signs with the Vikings
After all the transactions that Anthony Solari and the Buccaneers made so far this offseason, the Vikings finally made a splash of their own. They official sign rookie Anthony Winn to a 1-year deal. In an interview with Vikings manager, Justin Cardamone, he said, "Sounds good! I mean we are teammates after all for softball. He is good to have as a teammate. I have known him for years and he si great when it comes to communicating with me when something's wrong." Anthony Winn and his mother, Rachel, are very excited for the spring and what will come for the begginning of the career of Anthony Winn.
Vikings offer Alex Camp a deal
The league has just been informed that Justin Cardamone and the Vikings have offered a 3-year deal. Justin Cardamone has yet to sign a player because the Buccaneers refused to give them Bryan Nelson and Brandon Reiter is not up for grabs anymore after the Buccaneers signed him to a 6-year deal with a player option until 2028 and a club option until 2033. The only other players up fro grabs in the free agent market that the Vikings have the slightest chance at signing are Alex Camp, who was just offered a contract offer by the Vikings, and Anthony Winn, who just signed up for the league yesterday. It will be one big free agency market and there will probably be a lot of moves this offseason into Spring Training 2019 into the 2019 regular season.
OFFICIAL: Bryan Nelson is staying with the Bucs
Everyone heard earlier this week that rookie Bryan Nelson was placed on waivers by Anthony Solari and the Buccaneers and Justin Cardamone and the Vikings placed a claim for Nelson. Anthony Solari claimed it was to "make the offseason more interesting for everyone and make it more dramatic." Well, it turns out that Anthony Solari and the Buccaneers have announced that they refused to give Nelson to the Vikings and they refused to release him. In an interview this morning, Solari said, "I don't want Bryan {Nelson} to leave this team. I just did it to make the offseason more interesting and dramatic and make it entertaining for everyone to hear about. So I am now officially announcing that Bryan Nelson will be staying with me and this ball club." Anthony Solari said that loud and proud and he is excited to start the season out with Bryan Nelson, Brandon Reiter, if he accepts a deal from the Buccaneers, and Anthony Solari, himself.
Could Bryan Nelson's ankle injury effect him and his wiffleball league? (Solari)
Bryan Nelson is getting his ankle checked out because he has a lot of ankle discomfort. Anthony Solari thinks he will be fine after he lets it heal for a little bit. But other people think it will be fine for now but it will effect him in the long-run and later in his wiffleball career. They all think it will lead to later and much worse injury other than ankle discomfort. Anthony Solari, on the other hand, thinks that he will fine after 2-5 weeks of resting it and just as long as he doesn't try to walk on it too much or put much pressure on it, then he will most definitely be fine going into the first two or three weeks of Spring Training and even into the regular season and he says he's looking forward to it and playing on the Buccaneers team.
Rookie Reiter even closer to signing with the Bucs
Rookie and #1 Overall Prospect and speed threat Brandon Reiter is what I call "Closer than close" to signing a contract with Anthony Solari and the Buccaneers. In an interview with Brandon {Reiter}, I asked him how would he like it if he signed with the Buccaneers and he said, "I would be 100% ecstatic. I would be happy to play with an amazing coach and manager like Anthony Solari of the Buccaneers. If I do sign with them, I cannot wait to win championship after championship and ring after ring, year after year with this team." Then I asked him how he would feel if he was locked into a long contract with the Buccaneers, and he said, "I know I said I'm excited to sign with them but I don't want to be locked into a long contract and I don't want to be in a short contract because my hands get tired after a while. I don't want a 10-25 year contract but I also don't want a 1-3 year contract. I want something between four and nine years. Maybe we will win 4-9 championships for as long as I'm on the team, I don't know but we can't underestimate our competition, either, because they have some good talent that are on there for a while, too, so we just got to hope for the best and play to the best of our capability and we will be alright and successful." They will be successful alright. I'm predicting 6-7 World Series rings for this team.
Spring Training is getting closer!
Spring Training is super close. Spring Training is exactly 50 days away on February 15, 2019. 4:30pm is the first game on that day.
Solari plans on keeping rookie Nelson
Young manager, Anthony Solari of the Buccaneers plans on keeping rookie Bryan Nelson. Anthony Solari claimed that Designated Bryan Nelson for Assignment was to provoke the offseason transactions and to make it super dramatic and super interesting, especially for the first ever offseason. Even though the Vikings manager, Justin Cardamone, placed a claim on Bryan Nelson, Solari doesn't have to give him up. Today, Anthony Solari said that he was definitely planning on keeping Bryan Nelson on the Buccaneers.
Young manager Solari claims it was to make offseason 'interesting' so far
Last night, young manager, Anthony Solari, have Designated Bryan Nelson for Assignment. It urns out today in an interview, Solari claims that it was to 'make the offseason more interesting.' That means no transactions have happened so it is guaranteed that Anthony Solari will be keeping Bryan Nelson but it was just to provoke transaction.
Vikings place claim on rookie Nelson
The team manager for the Vikings, Justin Cardamone, has reportedly placed a claim on the Top 3 Prospect, Bryan Nelson.
Rookie Reiter believes he is a better version of Billy Hamilton
Rookie speed threat Brandon Reiter claims that he's the better version of Billy Hamilton. Billy Hamilton currently plays for the Kansas City Royals as an outfielder. In a text message Anthony Solari of the Buccaneers received from Brandon {Reiter} said, "I'm a Billy Hamilton with way more contact...with a little bit of pop if squared up." In an earlier interview, Anthony Solari said, "I like a little bit of power, contact, speed, and defense. If we have one person for each component, then we will be a super team." Anthony Solari said in an interview a few minutes ago, "I would love to have Brandon {Reiter} on the squad because he has a little bit of all four components that I stated in an earlier interview with you. He has the contact we need. He has the speed we need and he's like a speed demon. He has the little bit of power we need. He has the defense we need. And he also has the pitching we need. He is also a great guy to have in the clubhouse so I think if we add him to my team, even though he won't be there that much, we will be a very successful team with a lot of World Series Championships coming our way!" Anthony {Solari} also stated that if he were to compare Brandon Reiter to a few MLB Baseball Players, he would compare him to Shohei Ohtani of the Angels, Billy Hamilton of the Royals, and Kaleb Cowart of the Mariners. Shohei Ohtani and Kaleb Cowart are both two way players who are really good at their positions as does Brandon Reiter. Billy Hamilton is also a speed demon with decent contact as does Brandon Reiter. So I think Brandon Reiter will be a very talented wiffleball player in the near future.
Anthony Solari of the Buccaneers have shared their interest in rookie speed threat Brandon Reiter. The only concern he has with Brandon {Reiter} is that he lives in Florida and he comes up once a year sometimes not at all. Anthony Solari said in an interview, “I wished Brandon Reiter still lived here {New Jersey} because I know that he would show up to every game and practice he can and he’s a good guy to have in the clubhouse.”
It's official everyone! Justin Cardamone becomes the manager of the Vikings. Bryan Nelson rejected because he wants to be on a team as a player only and he currently has an offer worth 2-years and a player option until 2023 from the Buccaneers. When the commissioner asked Alex Camp to do it, he said, "I'm sorry. I'm not fit to take on the position of team manager of any team. I think Bryan {Nelson} should do it because he has the most managerial experience out of all of us. I just want to be a player." But before the commissioner asked Bryan {Nelson} and Alex {Camp}, he asked Justin Cardamone to do it. He rejected saying that he hasn't done it in a long time. Then after I asked Bryan {Nelson} and Alex {Camp}, the commissioner asked him one more time and he said that he would do it if he got assistance from the Buccaneers manager to help him manage a team.
I asked Anthony Solari in an interview this morning, after he made official that he was managing the Buccaneers, what transactions or big moves will he do with his team throughout the offseason. He said, "First, I would like to say that getting this role as the Buccaneers Manager is a huge honor and it is a wonderful Christmas gift to me. I'm really interested in signing one of two rookies this offseason, maybe two depending on how many teams we have. I'm really interested in Bryan Nelson, who is indeed a huge power bat. I can tell because I saw the way he played in Field of Dreams. He played with so much energy and heart it wasn't even funny. And even for Hoops for All he did the same exact thing. He also likes to pick up his teammates when they are down or the made a mistake. He doesn't ridicule them for it. He helps them get better and he compliments the teammate and that's what i look into when searching for players to sign. He's not only good and talented, he's kind-hearted, too. Another player I was interested in is rookie Alex Camp. I want a guy like Alex {Camp} to go hand-in-hand with Bryan's {Nelson} good spirits and talent. He's also kind-hearted but he's more of a contact hitter. Our team doesn't need a bunch of power bats. We need speed and people that can sacrifice themselves or at least get a base hit when we need to score runs or move a runner over to the next base. Four main components for me are power, contact, defense, and speed. I don't need it from everyone but if one person has better speed, one person has better contact, one guy has better defensive abilities, and one guy has better power, we can use that to compliment each others playing. Meaning, that we can use the skills we all have and make each other better players. I'll definitely make sure to tell them this in our first ever practice which will be soon most likely depending on if they sign with us or if they can make it to the first practice." He had a lot to say and it's what's going to make him a better manager, the best manager, or even, the greatest manager. We all know the saying, "Defense wins you championships." But what he's saying is if he has all the power he needs, all the defense he needs, all the contact he needs, and all the speed he needs, then he will win not only one championship as a manager. I'm thinking between 6-13 championships in his tenure as a manager. That will definitely put him in the Hall of Fame not only as a player, but as a good managar, and an even better Commissioner.
It's official everyone! Anthony Solari (although he's also the Commissioner) has now officially become the Buccaneers manager! He has a great chance at the Manager of the Year Award now.
There are reports out that Anthony Solari will be the team manager of the Buccaneers this season. If he becomes a Manager, he will have a really good chance at winning the Manager of the Year Award! That's a prestigious honor given to Managers only. It is given to the Manager who is on in a poll and it's based on which one they thought did the best throughout the season. Anthony Solari has a huge chance at getting that prestigious award if he becomes a player-manager!
Spring Training is right around the corner! The first Spring Training games are on February 13, 2019 as of right now. You do not want to miss. It is approximately 50 days, 17 hours, 25 minutes, and 16 seconds away! Good luck to all teams this year!
