. A very sad day. Even the sky's were crying on us. As it poured down cats and dogs. But we kept playing and laughing. It was our last day together as "ROADRUNNERS". I can not state how much I love and admire the girls for all their hard work that they put into keeping us playing all these years.

Another hot day, we played 4 20min qtrs. Again so close to pulling the tie game out we wer down 3-0 and ended 3-2.

A hot day on the turf fields. Start with only 11 girls and ended with 9 on the field. And we were close to pulling out a tie. Game ended in with a 5-3 loss but we pushing hard at the end.

.We started slow, Great job by Lyndsey stepping up to play goalie. We lost 4-3 but had a shot with 5 seconds left. But still a great effort. The Girls never gave up.

Overall a good weekend.
The girls showed that they can compete and there is so much we see that we like.

VETERANS PARK: Field 30 - 279 BELLROSE AVENUE EAST NORTHPORT, NY 11731
Stay on Commack Rd. heading North. Make a Left turn onto Jericho Turnpike heading West. Make right turn onto Larkfield Rd (after Home Depot/Staples) heading North. Take Larkfield to Bellerose Ave (just over railroad tracks) make right turn. Soccer fields are approximately 3/4 miles on the left.
Saturday -- arrive 8:50am

. A great game lossing 3-0 at half, and we come back to tie 3-3.
Game 2 - vs Syosset Eagles 1:10pm
. Another great Game. Losing 2-0 at half and come back to win 3-2.
Sunday -- Arrive 2:45pm(allow time to park)
Game 3 - vs NHP Kit Kats - 3:40pm
. A tough game we never connected and lost 3-0
Game 4 - vs Elwood Explosion 6:00pm
. A good game We actually had the lead 1-0 for a short time. But ended up lossing 4-1

Very Proud of the Girls. We lost 3-1, but we had only 11 players and we actually had great control of the game. We moved the ball around fantastic.
I'm really looking forward to this season if they keep this kind of ball control going.

2014 Indoors at the Bubble.
Not our Best indoor season
We played some good games and some bad ones. But over all I think the girls did well. I like the progress they have made keeping the ball under control. We ended 2-1-5, to many games we were short on players. But again overall we made some good progess.

This was going to be a challenge. They play a similar style of game, good defense, not giving up a lot of goals. And they also struggle to score.
The girls played wonderfully today. They kept most of the presure on them. Passsing the ball around very well and we got a goal early in the first half. And that was it for the whole game. We won 1-0.

A very hot day for soccer and we were down 2 players. They kept putting pressure on us all day. We had a lot of trouble today keeping the ball on their side of the field. Every time we were on that side they would bring it back to our side. But our defense and goaltending played great all day. so they never got a clear shot on goal and we end up with a 1-0 Win.

A very tough Loss, down 1-0 at half and ended that way. We moved the ball well and just need to work on controlling the ball after passes and stops. The ball bounced off of us to many times, and we couldn't keep possession. Even with that they never scored. ;)
And the parents also deserve thanks, since you are part of the scoring system in winning this award.
Game 9 - Great end of the year Game. It was close this was a very physical game. We kept the presure on them most of the game. And they kept fighting back. This was a good 5-3 Win for the girls.
Game 8 - Another game of two halfs. This first half we played well with a lot of energy. We went into half tied 1-1, and their one was a penelty shot with less then a 1 min to go. The second half we came out with fire!! Everyone was talking looking around makeing great passes. And we end this game 4-1.
Game 7 - This was a tail of two halfs. The first half I'm not sure who was on the field. Keeping our traingle shape was forgotten during this half. We were done 4-0 a little into the second half and then the girls woke up and scored 3 goals. And we kept the presure on the the rest of the game. A few more minutes and we may have been able to pull out a tie.
Game 6 - This was a very back and forth game. They were in our zone a lot of the time. We were up 2-1 and let a goal in at the end for a Tie.
Game 5 - Great come back game, down 0-1 at half. The girls scored 2 goals to end with a 2-1 Win. They were not down or depressed during the halftime break. They were actually very excited to get back on the field and play. This was great confidence win for them. They are learning to never give up.
Game 4 - This was a tuff game. It shows that even though we have come a long way this past year, we still have a lot to work on. I was glad to see that we kept on playing the whole game.
This is not something for the girls to get upset over, lets just work harder and we will get better.
Game 3 - Great game, A full 60 min effort by everyone Offense, Defense and goalies. A second 4-0 shutout!!! The coaches can not be more proud of how the girls are Playing.
Game 2 - We played a good game, we kept the ball in their end most of the game. Sadly we gave up a goal near the end, but we still finished with a Tie.
Game 1 - Great game, all the practice over the summer showed!! We kept the pressure and didn't let them onto our side very often.
Lets keep this effort and energy all year.!
The team has earned the “Bronze” sportsmanship Award for the Spring 2009 Season.
This has been a very good year(Spring 2009). We have come a long way as a team. Coach Frank and I couldn't be happier about the progress we have made this year. From September to June the girls have progressed a great deal. They are working together and they know that they can’t give up on any game as we have shown with all the come backs for wins and ties this year.
We still have work to do, but they are all progressing together as a team!!
Let’s have a good summer and get ready for next year!!!

6/6 - Another Comeback... for a tie, Again down 2-0 and comeback for a 2-2 tie. It's good that we are not giving up. Lets try and get a lead now!!

5/31 - All I can say is WOW... down 3-0 and we come back to win 3-4. It's great to see the confidence growing in the girls.

5/16 - This was a tough loss, but if we can take anything out of the loss was how hard they played. We were down at the half and came back to tie the game. They were moving the ball around and didn't give up!!

Excellent effort. The girls kept on track and for the entire game.
They never let up.
This was a good win for the girls. Now they need to build on it.

We played the 1st Place team, and tied them.
Good work girls!!! We need to keep that effort on the field
for everygame.
We won the Fall 2008 LIJS sportsmanship award for our division.
The girls will be able to go down to the 27th Annual LIJS Convention on March 14th or 15th and they will be presented with the “Sportsman Patch”
Again this is an honor that the team and parents have earned, it is voted on by the Referees.
As I get more information I will let everyone know.
