Alex Heatzig Earns Academic All-American
Saint Andrew's lacrosse player, Alex Heatzig has been name Academic All-American. Heatzig is a Senior close defenseman for the Scots and led the team in caused turnovers.

ESPN 106.3: Scots LAX bound for Regional Finals

SCOTS do it again in 4th to beat Jupiter 12-9 and are FINAL FOUR Bound
Down 1-4 with minutes to play in first half, Scots rallied with 3 goals to finish 4-4 at half. Jupiter out scored the Scots in the 3rd quarter, 3-2 to close the quarter 6-7 Jupiter. The Warriors added 2 more to go up 6-9 with 9:48 to play. I told the Jupiter parents, "I'm not worried. I have seen this movie before. I know how it ends."
At 6:28, the Scots closed the gap to 8-9 and tied it up with 5:32 to play. Iznaga scored the go ahead goal a 3:00. Two more goals before the contest ended and the Scots punched their ticket to the Final Four next week at IMG in Bradenton. Saint Andrews' opponent will be St Thomas. The Final Four teams are: St Thomas, Saint Andrews, Lake Mary and Lake Highland Prep.
