"The Cage"

Home of the Jaguars

"The Cage" is the home of Jaguar Soccer. It is located between Stanky Field and Jaguar Track and has a seating capacity of 500.

On September 10, 1994 the South Alabama women's soccer team played its first game at "The Cage". The Jaguars defeated West Florida 2-1. In 13 seasons, USA has posted a 76-40-10 (.643) record on its home field. Between August 30, 1997 and September 3, 1999 the Jaguars won 14 straight games at home.

"The Cage" opened in 1991 as the home of USA's men's soccer program. In 1999 it played host to the inaugural game of USA's club football team attended by over 3,000 spectators. In 2000, 2002, 2005 and 2007, USA and "The Cage" played host to the Sun Belt Conference Women's Soccer Tournament.
