Alabama USA operates a summer basketball league from June until August. The summer league starts with a 2 week fundamentals camp, then an 8 game season followed by playoffs. 

The Summer League gives youth the opportunity to learn more about the game of basketball and build up their skill level. AUSA uses the summer program also as a tool for character building. During the summer season we hold an annual youth rally. During the rally players will hear speakers from the areas of law enforcement, sports, religion, and different motivational speakers.

AUSA is a "youth first"organization and we place a huge emphasis on the development of young people.
