Baltimore BLUESTORM BASEBALL CLUB

The Baltimore Bluestorm is a nationally recognized Non-profit 501c3 baseball program dedicated to providing superior baseball instruction to children and adolescents of all ages in the Baltimore City tri-state area. Our organization consists of various "ELITE" teams that travel to the most competitive events in the United States and several "Select" travel teams that are also currently developing to become national standouts.

Our MIssion at Baltimore Bluestorm is to teach, develop, and prepare our kids to play baseball at the highest levels possible by providing them professional instruction and academic guidance so that they can continue to play the sport when they get to High School and College, and hopefully Professional baseball. We believe that by teaching them sound baseball fundamentals and the common skills of teamwork, communication, focus, respect, sportsmanship and hard work, that the kids will then use these values as a tool in life to not only develop better athletically, but also develop socially and overall academically. 

The facts are that in inner cities, Baseball and all other sports included, provide a safe haven for kids that protect them from distractions on the outside that would otherwise not have been there if their bodies and minds were occupied participating in other activities. Our belief is that by providing our children the opportunity to play baseball and compete at such high levels, that the love and respect for the game will transfer to the books and school where they will now succeed more because of their work ethic and them knowing the value of "Family and School come first" and then comes baseball. 

In the near future, we plan to introduce a "Bluestorm Baseball Scholars" program that will provide individuals the opportunity to access other resources outside of baseball that will lead them to greater academic opportunities for middle school, high school and college. Some of those resources will be: After-school homework help and tutoring, ISEE, ACT, SAT and PSAT prep courses and college advisement. This program will select a showcase team of elite 7th and 8th graders that are outstanding academically to travel and showcase their athletic and academic abilities to independent schools across the northeast, thus exposing them to a better path in life.

Baltimore Bluestorm has a very strong network of friends and staff within that are committed to helping our kids get to the next level. We pride ourselves in bringing out that inner excellence that exists in each and every single child. Although our program is still very young, our championship tradition is very rich, and so is the quality of our coaching staff, players and families. That being said, stay tuned, as we have many young kids who will soon be making plenty of noise in the baseball circles and THAT generation will be the beginning to many more generations of success for this program.
