CLARENCE GIRLS SOFTBALL LEAGUE PLAYER,
PARENT and SPECTATOR CODE OF CONDUCT
 

I hereby pledge to provide positive support, care and encouragement for my team/daughter participating in Clarence Girls’ Softball by following this Code of Conduct pledge:

I will encourage good sportsmanship by demonstrating positive support for all players, parents, coaches, umpires, board members, and staff at league sponsored events either in Clarence or away.

I will place the emotional, psychological, and physical well being of my team/daughter, and any other children in the league ahead of any personal desires I may have.

I will insist that my team/daughter participates in a safe and healthy environment.

I will support all coaches, board members and others working with my team/daughter, in order to encourage a positive and enjoyable experience for all.

I will try to create an environment for my team/players that is drug, alcohol and smoke free at all clinic, practice and game related events.

I will remember that the league is for the youth and not for the coaches.

I will do my best to make this league fun for all involved.

I will require my team/daughter to uphold Clarence’s zero tolerance policy of treating players, parents, coaches, umpires, board members, and spectators with respect: regardless of race, sex, sexual orientation, religion, creed or ability.

I will refrain from any and all vulgar, lewd or obscene language or gestures while participating in or watching any league sponsored event whether at home or away.

I will direct all my comments and criticisms to parents, coaches, umpires, and board members away from the children participating in the league, and conduct myself in a calm, civilized manner when doing so.

Violation of these rules could result in disciplinary action up to and including permanent dismissal from the Clarence Girls’ Softball League.

 

Please Note:
In order to participate in the Clarence Girls’ Softball League, this form must be signed and dated prior to the start of the season. Failure of the Player/Parent to read and sign this Code of Conduct will automatically render him/her ineligible to participate in any official capacity with the team and league. In addition, by signing this Code of Conduct pledge, Player/Parent agree to abide by the guidelines set forth above, and to conduct themselves in an appropriate manner. Failure to abide by this Code of Conduct, or violation of any of the guidelines set forth above, will automatically render the Player/Parent unable to participate or attend any league sponsored event either home or away. The Clarence Girls’ Softball Board of Directors has the sole right to enforce any violations made.
