--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q: How much playing time will my child receive?

A: The FGS Sports programs emphasize skill development, participation, and fun. We recommend a fair allocation of time whenever possible. The policy is communicated to all coaches involved.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q: How can I get involved?

A: We need volunteer coaches! One of the most important aspects of our leagues is getting good coaches to volunteer their time once a week during their child's game and/or practice. We also look for assistant coaches, team helpers, and assistants to help run the league operations. Please call 404-964-2194 to get more information.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q: Can I play on the same team as my friend / brother / sister?

A: Absolutely! Just provide the name of the person you would like to play with in the "Special Requests" field during your registration.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q: Are the leagues for boys, girls, or co-ed?

A: Every league is co-ed. Boys and girls will play on the same teams in most instances.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q: What are the qualifications of the coaches and officials?

A: Every head coach in an FGS Sports program is carefully screened with a criminal background check and is required to pass an online exam as part of the certification process.

We contract out only certified officials from qualified sources to ensure that FGS Sports philosophy and core principles are met.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q: How do I know if the games are rained out?

A: Simply call the automated rainout hotline @ 678-574-9835 1-2 hours prior to game time for the status of your game. Any make-up schedule information will be posted on the website and distributed to the coaches.

Q: Is there a fee for becoming a member of the website?

A: No. Becoming a member is absolutely free. Furthermore, you are not required to register for a league.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q: Will you share my information with any 3rd parties?

A: Absolutely not. We put a high priority on the privacy of our members. The information is neither sold nor shared with any other entity.

Q: What are the age brackets?

A: Our youth leagues are open to kids ages 5-14. Actual team age brackets will be determined after the registration deadline by the number of kids that register per league at each age/grade level.

When putting together divisions, we consider age as of when the league begins play, grade level during the current school year, and playing experience to ensure that each team in each division has the same average age, grade level, and experience.

Every effort is made to ensure that all teams are as competitively equal as possible. Should you request to play with a friend, group of friends, or for a specific coach, the special requests will be honored with the requesting kids being placed in the division that the oldest child would normally play in.
