Rules & Regulations

1. All regular season games will consist of a three minute run time warm up, and two fifteen minute stop time periods.

2. There will be no time outs

3. Slapshots are now permitted and shootouts to determine tie games.

4. There will be no red line.

5. Body contact is not permitted and will be strongly enforced ( suspension may follow if referee feels intent to injure ).

6. High sticking - high sticking the puck results in a whistle and a face-off in the offending team's zone. Any high stick to an opponent is an automatic 4 minute penalty. Any high stick that is intentional or injures an opposing player is an automatic 5 minute major and ejection from that game.

7. A total of 6 minutes in penalties will result in an ejction from that game, thus 10 minute misconducts result in an ejection from that game.

8. A player who receives a misconduct in the last 10 minutes of a game will be suspended for the next scheduled game.

9. Fighting incurs a suspension from the current and subsequent seasons plus a review prior to re-entry. Dropping the gloves to goad another player into a fight is a 3 game suspension.

10. A player who receives a major for something other than fighting will be ejected from the game. If penalty occurs in the last 5 minutes, the player will be suspended for the next scheduled game.

11. A player who receives a match or gross penalty will be suspended 10 games, no exceptions.

12. A player who leaves the bench during an altercation will be ejected from the game, and may be prone to further suspensions ( up to league ban)

13. Any player that physically or verbally abuses a league official or committee member will be suspended indefinitely and will be reviewed by the league .

14. Verbal abuse directed toward referee’s will not be tolerated. Penalties or ejection will be strongly enforced in this matter.

15. Verbal abuse / pushing after the whistle will not be tolerated. Penalties or ejection will be strongly enforced in this matter.

16. Roughing in front of the net, whether player/ goalie or player/ player will be called tight by referee’s

17. All player’s must be 35 years of age unless grandfathered from previous year.

18. A team must ice 6 players to start a game, or the opposing team is awarded a 1-0 win.

19. There will be no protests to referee or league decisions.

20. All player’s must be paid in full before they play.

21. If a player is injured, moves, or is suspended no refund is given.

22. Spare goalies are eligible to play on any team any time.

23. Suspended player’s are not permitted on or near the bench.

24. CHA rules apply where not already stated.

25.  If teams are tied at the conclusion of the season, the tie breaker formula will be as follows:

A.       Most total wins
B.       Best head to head record

C.        Best plus/minus

D.       Most goals

E.        Least penalty minutes

F.        A coin toss
