Refunds

• Refunds will only be issued if no games are played.  50% credit will be issued for 1 game played.

General Rules

• Each team must provide proof of Team Insurance and a completed Roster Form.

• 2021 League Age is determined by the Player's Age on April 30th, 2021.

• Photocopies of birth certificates will be required at time of check in and should be kept in managers possession the entire tournament. Originals may be requested.

• Roster size will be limited to 15 Players per Tournament, there will be no add-ons.

• No player will be allowed to play in a lower division or on multiple teams during a Tournament.

• Metal Cleats are allowed except on portable mounds while pitching.

• Bats for 08U-13U must be stamped BPF 1.15, 14U BBCOR only. Violation of this rule will result in manager ejection.

• If a Team forfeits a game during Pool Play they are automatically disqualified from all Playoff Games.

• Protests will be ruled on immediately by the Tournament Director. All protests must be initiated thru the home plate umpire before being brought to the Tournament Director. Once the next pitch is thrown, a team loses the right to protest. Only managers may protest. Judgment calls by umpires may not be protested.

• Managers are responsible for everyone associated with their team.

2-Day Tournament Rules

• Official Baseball Rules as published by Sporting News shall be used with the following exceptions...

• Pitching Distances: 09U/46'  10U/46'  11U/50'  12U/50' 13U/54' 14U/60'

• Base Distances: 09U/65'  10U/65'  11U/70'  12U/70' 13U/80' 14U/90'

• Due to Field layout, pitching and base distance may be slightly modified.

• Every effort will be made to avoid putting a Time Limit on Championship Games.

• Pool Play & Playoffs, 6 innings or no new inning after 1 hr 35 mins.

• 13U-14U: Pool Play & Playoffs, 7 innings or no new inning after 2 hrs.

• Game Time starts during the home plate meeting.

• California Tie-Breaker will be in effect for all Playoff Games, last out on 2nd base, continue batting order.

• No Pitching Limit, just remember dont hurt no one!!

• Uniform numbers necessary, matching uniforms recommended.

• Slide or Avoid Rule will be in effect for all Games.

• Home Team will be determined by coin flip for Pool Play & Championship Games. Higher Seed will automatically be designated Home Team for Playoff Games.

• The Home Plate Umpire will be designated as the Official Scorekeeper.

• A minimum of 9 Batters will be required for a Batting Order.

• Batting the entire Roster will allow for free substitutions. If this option is chosen, the last out must be used as the Courtesy Runner.

• An Extra Hitter (EH) may be inserted into the lineup and used as a free substitute throughout the game. The EH position can be substituted but cannot be dissolved. 

• A team may play with 8 Players with an out being recorded each time the 9th spot comes up.  This spot may be filled by a late arriving Player.

• Starters, once per game, may re-enter in their original Batting Order spot.

• Spots in the Batting Order vacated for any reason, will be recorded as an out each time through the order.

• To maximize game time a Courtesy Runner may be used for the Pitcher or Catcher at any time. A Courtesy Runner may be a Player currently not in the lineup or the last recorded out if batting the entire roster.

• Run Rule: 12 run differential after 3 innings, 10 after 4, 8 after 5.

1-Day Tournament Rules

• Pool Play & Playoffs, 6 innings or no new inning after 1 hr 30 mins.

• 13U-14U: Pool Play & Playoffs, 7 innings or no new inning after 1 hr 45 mins.

• Pitching Restrictions: 6 Innings, plus 1 for Championship Game, 13U-14U 7 innings, plus 1 for Championship Game.  Violation of this rule will result in manager ejection.

• Higher Seed is Home Team for Championship Game.

Once advance to the next tie breaker criteria, do not return to a previous criteria

Disclaimers

• The Tournament Director reserves the right to change or modify any of the items at any time to better serve the Tournament.

• Prizes not claimed within 30 days of the Tournament Date will be forfeited by the winner.

ETHICS

Asking players to switch teams or even making a spot open for a player on your team for a player who is already on another team is not good for travel baseball. The signing period for players should be from when the Spring Season ends to when Winter Ball starts. Teams that allow players already on a team during the season are not helping promote travel baseball. Please only make roster spots for free agents! The $7.00 award you’re fighting for is not worth teaching players and families to not fulfill their commitments to the team they joined first.
