Q: When does practice begin?

A: August 10th

Q: What are the practice schedules?

A: For the month of August, practice is Tuesday through Thursday 6:30 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Beginning in August 25th, practice is Tuesday and Thursday 6:30 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.

Q: What should be worn to practice?

A: You should wear cheering shorts, cloth shorts or shorts with NO pockets, a t-shirt or tank top (NO tops that show midriff) and socks with tennis shoes (NO slip on shoes).

NO JEWELRY OF ANY KIND! (Please avoid any new ear piercing as cheerleaders are NOT allowed to leave earrings in during practice or games)

Hair should be pulled up into a pony tail or out of the face if it is not long enough for a pony tail.

Q: Are there additional charges for the cheerleading uniform?

A: No. The uniform is the property of the King William Raiders. Each child will be fitted and provided with a uniform that will be returned to the King William Raiders at the end of the season. A deposit (an advanced dated check that will be held and not cashed) will be required but will be returned to you in full when the undamaged (other than normal wear and tear) uniform is returned.

Q: How will I know what part of the uniform to wear to the games?

A: Your individual coaches will announce at the end of practices on Thursday what needs to be worn to the game the following Saturday. Each cheerleader is responsible for having ALL uniform and accessory pieces with her at EVERY game. The weather may change so we always want to be prepared for anything. ALL cheerleaders’ attire needs to be uniform; therefore, if you are missing a piece of your uniform you will not be allowed to cheer.
