Premier Basketball games will start in September. Please let me know if your daughter plans to return or not by August 5th. I am trying to schedule a practice by next week. I will be posting practices and information on our website.

UNIFORMS
Who would like to be in charge of working with me to get the uniforms for the team. Also, do we want a sponsor for the uniforms?

TEAM NAME and COLORS
I like the Lubbock Eagles with our Red and Gold Colors and Black Shorts but I am willing to hear suggestions.

SCHEDULE
The Fall Season will start September 12 - November 3. There are 10 games and Single Elimination Tournament.

I will have this ready after we decide on the uniform and find out the number of players returning.

We will have our first parent meeting \ player practice this Monday (August 29th) at 7:00 to 8:00 at Preston Smith Elementary Outdoor Court - the outdoor court close to 89th street.

We will discuss the following:

JERSEYS
I will need to get the size of the jerseys for each girl and we will use the same numbers as they had before in MOB.

Score uniforms sells a packet of reversible jerseys but they have to be the same size. We could get larges and then order any other larger size. I am looking at getting the Royal Blue. We would wear the jersey with black shorts.

If someone wants to help with this, I would appreciate it.

GYM RENTALS
Need to lock down practice locations with dates and times. If anyone know of a gym other than Premier or the LCAA gym, I would appreciate any information.

We could use the Tech Gym on Saturday mornings or Sunday afternoons for $5 per child. I could check to see if we could use it during the weekdays. I understand, sometimes we can not make all practices. I would like to get 6 hours of practice before our 1st game on the 12th.

TEAM FEE
With the above costs, we will have the cost of the team fee for Premier for $795. The cost will be divided by the 9 girls on the team.

SCHEDULE
I spoke with Premier and we will be able to black out dates due to our softball and soccer schedule.

MONDAY
Please have your daughter bring out her basketball - 27.5 basketball. Also, some water or drinks during our breaks.

Our game on Friday is at 6:30 p.m. at New Deal Middle School - 203 South Monroe, New Deal TX. North of Lubbock about 10-15 minutes past Lubbock Country Club. Be sure to be 15 minutes early before each game, and bring sometime for your daughter to drink.
