The Riverside Youth Athletic Association (RYAA) of Riverside, New Jersey, a non-profit organization, is dedicated to the purpose of teaching boys and girls of the Riverside Community the meaning of fair play, to build healthy minds and bodies, and to help mold character to become model citizens through youth athletics.
The RYAA (formally Riverside PAL) has been a valuable contributor to the community for many years helping to influence young boys and girls into becoming responsible and confidant adults. We view our organization as a key dimension of family living in our town.
The success of the RYAA sports programs, in providing an outlet for the town’s youth and positive experience for the community, requires a lot of hard work by our volunteers, collaboration with our township, and generous support from our sponsors. Get Involved...Join the Fun!
Our Youth
The RYAA supports various sports programs for boys and girls, age groups from Pre-K thru High School.
Basketball: Pre-K to 8th grade
Baseball: Pre-K to High School
Softball: Pre-K to High School
Our Coaches
The coaches are hardworking parents and community members donating time to teach our kids the various aspects of the game; from the basic to the advanced skills along with sportsmanship and fair play. The RYAA promotes each coach to obtain the Rutgers S.A.F.E.T.Y training curriculum to give them the basics of coaching and the legal liability protection afforded by the “Little League Law”.

The RYAA runs on the talents of many dedicated individuals. These people are parents, sports enthusiasts, community and business leaders who all share in the active support of our children through quality athletics. Our Sponsors
We strive to keep our registration fees reasonable to attract more families to participate in our programs. In order to offset the rising costs of youth athletics, the RYAA is truly greatful to all of our sponsors who provide financial support to our league and give back to our community!
