The VA HUSTLE BASKETBALL MISSION is dedicated to providing young men and women with the opportunity to significantly improve their life skills by teaching the importance of ACADEMICS and SELF DISCIPLINE through the game of basketball. We are committed to teaching the fundamentals of basketball while building strong, socially confident and educated young men and women. Our organization’s focus is directed towards ACADEMIC and ATHLETIC achievement, SKILL DEVELOPMENT, CHARACTER BUILDING and MENTORSHIP. The goal of VA HUSTLE is to provide a safe environment of positive reinforcement that teaches RESPECT, DISCIPLINE, TEAMWORK, COMMITMENT and HARD WORK to help our youth become successful not only in the game of basketball but also in the game of life.

The G.R.I.N.D. is an enrichment program that targets academics and social development. It is an education and mentorship program established to assist young men and women in developing strong social and educational leadership skills that can help them succeed in the most important game of their lives, "The Game Of Life". The G.R.I.N.D.'s focus is to basically keep kids off the streets and out of trouble while helping with their overall personal development by encouraging them to make the right decisions in life. The G.R.I.N.D.'s volunteer staff of educators, coaches and other professional mentors of the community are strong advocates of academic success and personal growth of our student athletes. All VA HUSTLE athletes participate in the G.R.I.N.D. program.

We are currently looking for individuals who care about our youth and would like to volunteer a small percent of their time as a Coach, Mentor, Tutor, or a G.A. for our Guardian Angels program.
