Two of our newly added teams to this years league starting off with a bang. St James used a steady line of scoring with four players in double digits. Dave Rogers led St. James with 19 pts, Mike Kelbaugh added 16 pts, while Alan Moore added 12 pts, and Dave Fuss with 11 pts.
Mark Spencer Led all scorers with 29 pts for West End.
Christ Community topples St. Andrews, 82-58
Christ Community started the season off hot, romping last year's 2nd place St. Andrew's team 82-58. T. Franks led all scorers with 25 pts, while Gabe Hirsch added 18 pts for Chris Comm. Tee Brown (13 pts) and Kevin Henson (12 pts) both reached double figures for Christ Comm.
Andrew Ramirez led St. Andrews with 23 pts, with Chris Rogers chipping in 18 pts.
St. Mary's comes out on top in OT, 45-43 over Lifehouse #2
St. Mary's was welcomed back into the league after a few years off, with a 45-43 Overtime win over Lifehouse #2. Britton (14 pts) and Johnson (11) led St. Mary's to the win.
Carlos Sanchez led all scorers with 17 pts. Anthony Griffin had 12 pts for Lifehouse #2.
Hagerstown Christian gets win over FCF, 66-56
Hagerstown Christian had a strong showing on their opening night, defeating last years Regular Season Champs FCF 66-56. Pete Yost dropped 24 pts for Hagerstown, while Steve Boyd hit for 22 pts with three 3's.
Tony Hardcastle led FCF with 21 pts.
2015 Champs Lifehouse #1 start off season with win over Pathway, 57-53
It was a hard fought battle all night, but Lifehouse #1 pulled out the win over a tough Pathway team, 57-53. It was a close game most of the way, with the lead only at 1 point with about two minutes left in the game. Mike Lum hit a driving layup with 1 minute left to put Lifehouse #1 up 3 pts, then Tim Sowell put in 2 FT's with 17 seconds left to seal the win.
Mike Lum led all scorers with 29 pts. Nick Varner had 8 pts, and Kane Miller chipped in 7 pts.
Nate Beard (21 pts) and Chad Basore (20 pts) both put up double figures for Pathway.
Nazarene defeats Boonsboro Family in Week 1 Final game, 58-41
A newly assembled Nazerene team kept up their winning ways, defeating Boonsboro Family 58-41 to end Week 1. Nazerene had three players with double digits. Darryl Brown (13 pts), Kevin Liddle (14 pts), and Jaerd Lyons (11 pts).
Josh Stines a short handed Boonsboro team with 17 pts.
St. James defeats St. Marys, 57-47
St. James defeated St. Marys 57-47 to start off Week 2. Mike Kelbaugh and Scott Drury both had 12 pts, while Kenny S. chipped in 10 pts. for St. James.
Jeff Britton lead St. Mary's with (4) 3's and 14 pts. Brad Fisher added 12 pts.
Boonsboro Family holds off for win over St.Pauls, 47-37
Boonsboro used a big first half lead to hold off St. Pauls, 47-37. Derek Jeffery had the hot hand for Boonsboro with 15 pts. Josh Sines added 11 pts, while Tyler chipped in 12 pts.
Josh Barron scored a game high 16 pts for St. Pauls.
Christ Community holds off Lifehouse #1, 61-59
A one point game for most of the night, Christ Community hit 2 foul shots with 17 seconds left to seal the win over Lifehouse #1, 61-59. Lots of battling on the inside from both teams, Tyrell Franks pounding his way to a game high 28 pts to lead Christ Comm. Bage Hirsh added 14 pts, while Tee Brown chipped in 10 pts.
Holding on to a 2 point lead with 40 seconds left, Lifehouse added a costly turnover and the foul with 17 seconds on the clock. David Linn was a big spark for Lifehouse in the 2nd half, as he scored 8 of his 12 pts in the period. Mike Lum led Lifehouse with 21 pts, going 17-17 for the foul line.
Lifehouse #2 holds off West End 58-54
Carlos Sanchez scored a game high 21 pts to help Lifehouse #2 get their first win of the season, defeating West End 58-54. Paul Ficken added 10 pts for Lifehouse.
Marc Spencer led West End with 19 pts.
FCF use 3-ball, defeats Nazarene for a 74-58
FCF knocked down 9 3-pointers to get the big win over Nazarene, 74-58. Josh Lum hit 2 of those 3's, leading the way for FCF with 24pts. Tony Hardcaslte had 18 pts, while Kyle Lamont chipped in 10 pts.
Nazarene had two players in double digits for the night. Liddle top the team with 18 pts, while Thomas added 15pts.
St. Andrews collects win over Pathway, 55-49
St Andrew's held a six point lead for most of the second half to come out on top of Pathway on Tuesday's final game, 55-49. Andrew Ramirez had a game high 19 pts for St. Andrew's, and Chris Rogers (5) 3's to add 15 pts.
Chad Basore led Pathway with 16 pts. Nate Beard chipped in 10 pts.
Lifehouse #1 holds off late rally, defeats St. Andrews 66-58
In a rematch of last seasons Championship game, Lifehouse #1 held off a late rally mid way through the 2nd period, and pulled out the win over St. Andrews 66-58. St. Andrews pulled within 1 point before Nick Varner hit a huge 3-pointer with 14 minutes left in the game. Varner was hitting from all areas, scoring 13 pts for Lifehouse. Mike Lum led all scorers with 23 pts, including a game high (3) 3's.
Chris Rogers led St. Andrews with 12 pts, and JB Schaeffer adding 11 pts.
Nazarene defeat's St. Pauls, 58-49
Kevin Liddle scored an early season high with 37 points, to lead Nazarene over St. Pauls, 58-49. JJ Thomas chipped in 10 points for Naz.
St. Pauls were led be Josh Barron & Wes Kline, both scoring 11 pts each.
St. Mary's gets win of West End, 55-43
St. Mary's used a 13 point halftime lead to hold off West End, 55-43. Jeff Britton (12 pts), Alex Zoretich (14 pts), and Shaun Johnson (10 pts) all scored in double figures for St. Mary's.
West End outscored St. Marys by 1 point in the second, but could not close the first have deficit. Isaiah Saunders led West End with 11 pts.
Chris Community goes 3-0 with win over Pathway, 73-62
In a Three Point shoot out, Christ Comm. picked up the win over Pathway, 73-62. Nate Hirsch hit 6 of Christ Comm 13 3-pointers to scored 18 pts. Tyrell Franks scored a team high 21 pts, while Sean Koontz chipped in 10 pts.
Nate Beard connected on (8) 3's to scored a game high 31 pts. Chad Basore added 17 pts for Pathway.
St James hands Lifehouse #2 49-39 loss.
St. James defeated Lifehouse #2 Tuesday night, 49-39. Alan Moore hit (4) 3's to go with his 13 pts. Mike Kelbaugh added 10 pts for St James.
Carlos Sanchez led Lifehouse #2 with 13 pts.
High Scoring Hagerstown Christian defeats Boonsboro, 95-73
Almost topping the century mark, Hagerstown Christian defeat Boonsboro 95-73 in Week 3's final game. Hagerstown had four players in double figures, led by Steve Boyd with 25 pts and Marcus Hall 23 pts. Pete Yos added 18 pts, while David Ray chipped in 15 pts for Hagerstown.
Boonsboro was led by Derek Jeffery with 29 pts, and Josh Sines with 27 pts. Wink added 15 pts with (5) 3-pointers.
Hagerstown Christian throttles Nazarene 80-49
Hagerstown Christian added another big win to their high scoring season, defeating Nazarene 80-49. Hagerstown, who is averaging 80 point per game, got 22 pts from Marcus Hall, and 23 pts from Steve Boyd in the win. David Ray added 14 pts.
Kevin Liddle dropped 21 pts for Nazarene.
Christ Community hands West End 68-38 loss
Undefeated Christ Community showed why they are one of the best teams this year, defeating West End by 30 pts in a 68-38 win Monday night. Tyrell Banks led Christ Comm. with 22 pts, while Gabe Hirsch chipped in 18 pts.
West End was led by double digit scorers Brendom Williams (12 pts) and Mark Spencer (13 pts).
FCF defeats St. Pauls 64-37
FCF had all players in the scoring column, defeating St. Pauls 64-37. Tony Hardcastle scored a team high 20 pts for FCF. Kyle Lamont chipped in 9 pts, while Dave Hardcastle added 8 pts.
Bobby Kline led St. Pauls with 10 points.
Battle at Lifehouse
Though we are all great friends and family, both Lifehouse squads love a good battle on the basketball court. A one point game for most of the way, Lifehouse #1 hit a two Huge 3's with three minutes left to hold of Lifehouse #2, 65-59. Mike Lum made 4 foul shots with a 1 minute left to seal the win, and led Lifehouse #1 with 31 pts. Nick Varner added 11 pts, and Justin Price dropped 10.
Carlos Sanchez had big game for Lifehouse #2, scoring a team high 19 pts. Chris Grove added 11 pts.
Pathway holds off St. Marys 75-67
Pathway carried a nine point lead into the half, and held on to defeat St. Mary's 75-67. New comer Ralph Weaver scored a team high 27 pts. Chad Basore scored 10 of his 18 pts in the 2nd half, while Nate Beard added 11 pts.
Andrew Copcbianco dropped 21 pts to lead St. Mary's. Brad Fisher added 17 pts, and Brian Kenoyer chipped in 12 pts.
OT Thriller gives St. Andrews 74-73 win over St. James
St. Andrews pulled out the Overtime win over St James to end a action packed Tuesday night. Chris Rogers hit six 3's to led St. Andrews with 25 pts. Andrew Ramenez hit four 3's of his own to add 19 pt, while Tyler added 10 pts, and Marquis chipped in 12 pts for St. Andrews.
St James was led by Big Dave Rogers with 24 pts, while Michael Kelbaugh (16 pts) and Alan Moore (15 pts) both added double digit numbers for St. James.
12/20: FCF Defeats Boonsboro, 54-51
Dave Hardcastle scored 26 pts to lead FCF past Boonsboro, 54-51
Derek Jeffrey scored a game high 29 pts, while Josh Sines chipped in 19 pts.
12/20: Hagerstown Christian gets win over St. Paul's, 67-50
Hagerstown Christian defeated St. Pauls, 67-50. Steve Boyd led all scorers with 26 pts, while Pete Yos and Marcus Hall both added 10 pts apiece.
Josh Barron and Bobby Kline both scored 19 pts for St Pauls in the loss.
12/20: Christ Community defeats St James, 57-39
Tee Brown and Gabe Hirsch each scored 20 pts apiece, and Christ Community stays undefeated with 57-39 win over St. James.
Michael Kelbaugh scored 11 pts to lead St. James.
12/22: West End holds off St. Andrews, 57-47
Marc Spencer led all scorers with 24 pts to help West End defeat St. Andrews 57-47. Isaiha Sanders chipped in 13 pts for West End.
Andrew Ramirez scored 16 pts, and Chris Rogers added 13 pts for St. Andrews.
12/22: Lifehouse #1 holds lead, defeats St. Marys, 62-52
St. Mary's Rally from 15 down in the second half, but it wasn't enough as Lifehouse #1 pulled away with a 62-52 win. Mike Lum (20 pts), Tim Sowell (17 pts), and Justin Price (13 pts) all hit double figures to lead Lifehouse.
Shawn Johnson scored a team high 12 pts for St. Marys.
12/22: Lifehouse #2 defeats Pathway, 59-40
Lifehouse #2 had all 10 players scored, used a big second half to defeat Pathway, 59-40. Anthony Griffin scored 13 pts for Lifehouse, while Chris Grove added 10 pts.
Chad Basore and James Scott both had 11 pts, while Nate Beard chipped in 10 pts for Pathway.
1/2: St. Mary's starts of New year with win over St. Paul's, 64-48
St. Mary's had 4 players in double figures, and pulled away in the second half to defeat St. Paul's, 64-48. Andrew Copobianco led all scorers with 17 pts. Brad Fisher added 11 pts, while both Jeff Britton and Shaun Johnson chipped in 10 pts apiece.
Mike Castera led St Paul's with 16 pts.
1/2: St. Andrews topples Boonsboro, 89-58
St. Andrews hit 13 3's to defeated Boonsboro 89-58. Chris Rogers, who made 9 of the 13 3-pointers, had a game high 33 pts to lead St. Andrews. Aries added 20 pts, and Tyler chipped in another 15 pts for St. Andrews.
Derek Jeffrey scored a team high 25 pts, while Dustin Kelbaugh added 11 pts for Boonsboro.
1/2: Lifehouse #1 holds on to defeat West End, 66-57
Only up 2 points at the half, Lifehouse #1 slowly pulled away from West End to collect the 66-57 win on Monday night. Kane Miller battled inside in the 2nd to score a game high of 24 pts. Justin Price hit 3 3's to add 16 pts, while Nick Varner chipped in 10 pts for Lifehouse.
Mark Spencer led West End with 19 pts, while Isaiah Saunders chipped 14 pts in the defeat.
1/3: Christ Community defeats Nazarene 67-50
Christ Community defeated Nazarene Tuesday night 67-50. Mitch Wilson dropped 17 pts in his season debut, while Tyrell Franks added 16 pts, and Gabe Hirsch chipped in 11 for Christ Community.
Kevin Liddle scored a game high 20 pts to led Nazarene, while JJ Thomas added 14 pts.
1/3: Hagerstown Christian collects another win, defeats Lifehouse #2 57-38
Hagerstown Christian defeated Lifehouse #2, 57-38. Hagerstown was led be Marcus Hall with 18 pts. Steve Boyd added 14 pts, while Brad Nigh chipped in 10 pts.
Carlos Sanchez scored a game high 21 pts, while Chris Grove added 10 pts for Lifehouse.
1/3: Pathway holds on for 86-82 win over FCF
In one of the highest scoring games of the season, Pathway had four players in double figures, and held on to defeat FCF 86-82. Chad Basore led Pathway with 26 pts. Nate Beard dropped 16 pts, Justin Jones hit for 14 pts, and Aaron Stottlemyer added 15 pts for Pathway.
Dave Hardcastle led all scorers with 27 pts. Josh Lum added 13 pts for FCF.
1/9: Pathway defeats St. Paul's, 80-32
Pathway stretched a huge halftime lead to an even bigger win over St. Paul's, 80-32. Chad Basore scored a game high 28 pts to led Pathway. James Scott added 20 pts, while Nate Beard chipped in 13 pts for the win.
Jason Barron hit for 11 pts, and Matt Breakall added 10 pts for St. Paul's.
1/9: St. Andrews hits from deep, defeats Nazarene 82-64
Chris Rogers hit an amazing 11 3-pointers in route to a season high 44 point performance, to lead St. Andrews over Nazarene 82-64. Marquis chipped in 10 pts for St. Andrews.
Kevin Liddle had a game of his own, scoring 33 pts for Nazarene. Jared Lyons hit 4 3's to add 12 pts, while Matt McClure tossed in 11 pts.
1/9: Hagerstown stays undefeated, wins over St. Mary's 77-61
Hagerstown Chirstian, starting the season off 6-0, defeated St. Mary's 77-61 Monday night. Marcus Hall had a game high 28 pts, while Pete Yaos dropped 24 pts, and Steve Boyd added 18 pts for Hagestown.
Four players scored in double digits for St. Mary's in the loss. Jeff Britton led the team with 22 pts. Brad Fisher added 11 pts, while Andrew Copobianco and Brian Kenoyer each chipped in 12 pts apiece.
1/16: Hagerstown pulls away from St. Andrews, wins 82-70
Hagerstown Christian slowly pulled away in the second half, defeating St. Andrews 82-70 Monday night in the opener. Steve Boyd led Hagerstown with 29 pts. Marcus Hall added 23 pts, while Pete Yaos chipped in 16 pts for Hagerstown.
St Andrews was led by Chris Rogers with 29 pts, while JB Shaffer added 11 pts in the loss.
1/16: Lifehouse #1 hands Nazarene 95-57 loss
Lifehouse #1 scored a team season high 95 points to go along with the big win over Nazarene 95-57.
Mike Lum led all scorers, hitting his Church League career high with 42 pts to lead Lifehouse. Kane Miller hit 3 big 3's in the first half on his way to 23 pts, while Tim Sowell added 15 pts for Lifehouse.
Kevin Liddle led the way for Nazarene with 24 pts.
1/16: Christ Community holds off Lifehouse #2 in low scoring game, 44-36
Christ Community dropped Lifehouse #2, 44-36 in Monday nights final game. Tyrell Banks led the way with 14 pts. Gabe Hirsch chipped in 12 pts, while Mitch Wilson added 13 pts for Christ Comm.
Lifehouse #2 was led by Carlos Sanchez's 13 pts, and Anthony Griffin with 11 pts.
1/17: Pathway's Huge first half leads to 88-54 win over Boonsboro
Pathway, up 50-21 at the end of the first half, held on for the win over Boonsboro, 88-54. Nate Beard hit 5 3's on his way to a game high 27 pts. Chad Basore dropped 22 pts, while Aaron Stotlemyer chipped in 13 pts for Pathway.
Josh Sines had 25 pts to lead Boonsboro, while Derek Jeffrey chipped in 11 pts.
1/17: St. James defeats St. Pauls, 64-42
St. James used a strong first half to defeat St. Pauls, 64-42. Michael Kelbaugh had a game high 20 pts to led St. James.
Mike Castera scored 14 pts, while Bobby Kline added 12 pts for St. Pauls
1/17: FCF holds on for 80-78 Win over West End
FCF held off a second half surge from West End, to pull out a 80-78 win on Tuesday nights last game. Tony Hardcastle scored a team high 26 pts for FCF. Dave Hardcastle added 18 pts, while Josh Lum chipped in another 13 pts.
Mark Spencer had myself a game, scoring 28 of his game high 39 pts in the second half. Cody Kershner chipped in 12 pts for West End.
1/24: Pathway hands Nazarene 77-50 loss
With their 4th straight win, Pathway defeated Nazarene 77-50 to start off Tuesday night. Chad Basore dropped 21 pts for Pathway, while Ralph Weaver chipped in 16 pts. Nate Beard hit 3 3's to add 14 pts of his own.
Kevin Liddle scored a game high 28 pts, leading Nazarene for the night.
1/24: FCF gets OT win over St. Andrews, 60-54
FCF fought back from six points down in the second half to tie it at 54 apiece to take the game into OT against St. Andrews. But FCF was the only team to score in OT, collecting the win 60-54 over St. Andrews. Tony Hardcastle led FCF with 17 pts, while Kyle Lamont chipped in 16 pts.
St. Andrews was led by Chris Rogers with 16 pts, and Aries with 11 pts.
1/24: Lifehouse #1 defeats Boonsboro, 73-45
Lifehouse #1 had 4 players in double figures, and got the win over Boonsboro 73-45 to end Tuesday night's action. Mike Lum scored a game high 26 pts to lead Lifehouse. Kane Miller dropped 15 pts, while Jason Monninger and Tim Sowell both added 12 apiece.
Boonsboro, only playing with 5 players, was led by Josh Sines with 21 pts. Tyler Nedimyer added 13 pts for Boonsboro.
1/26: Christ Community defeats Boonsboro, 66-55
With both teams only playing with four players, Christ Community held on for the win over Boonsbor 66-55. All four payers for Christ Comm. scored in double digits. Tee Brown led the team with 20 pts, Andrew Robinette had 18 pts, Ed Beachley dropped 15 pts, and Nate Hirsch added 13 pts.
Brady Wink scored a team high 19 pts, with Tyler Nedimyer chipping in 17 pts for Boonsboro.
1/26: Lifehouse #2 pulls away from FCF for 63-50 win
Lifehouse #2 slowly pulled away in the second half, defeated FCF Tuesday night 63-50. Carlos Sanchez scored a game high 18 pts, while Josh Claggett dropped in 13 pts for Lifehouse.
FCF was led by Dave Hardcastle and Zach Weber with 10 pts apiece.
1/26: Lifehouse #1 gets late night win over St. James, 81-68
Lifehouse #1 held off a second half spurt from St. James to get the win, 81-68 in Tuesday night's last game. Only down 6 with 6 minutes left, Nick Varner and Justin Price hit two huge 3's to put the lead back up to twelve and the lead for good. Mike Lum led all scorers with 28 pts, while Nick Varner hit four 3's to go along with his 16 pts. Kane Miller added 14 pts, and Tim Sowell chipped in 10 pts for Lifehouse.
Mike Kebaugh had a team high 21 pts of St. James. Dave Rodgers added 15 pts, and Alan Moore chipped in 12 pts.
1/27: Christ Community rolls through St. Marys, 85-57
Christ Community had all five players in double figures in rout to a 85-57 win over St. Mary's. Gabe Hirsh led all scorers with 28 pts. Tyrell Banks followed with 23 pts, while Tee Brown dropped 12 pts. Ed Beachley and Nate Hirsh both added 11 pts apiece for Christ Community.
St. Mary's was led be Andrew Copobianco with 16 pts, Brad Fisher with 15 pts, and Shawn Johnson added 14 pts.
1/27: St. James drops undefeated Hagerstown, 82-62
St. James filled up the stat sheet Friday night to take down once undefeated Hagerstown Christian, 82-62. Michael Kelbaugh went for 19pts, while Kenny Shanholtz added 18 pts. Alan Moore and Scott Drury each scored 13 pts apiece, while Chad Seacrist chipped in 10 pts for St. James.
Steve Boyd scored a game high 27 pts for Hagerstown Christian. Pete Yaos chipped in 17 points, and Marcus Hall added 15 pts.
1/27: St. Paul gets first win of season, tops West End 45-34
St. Paul collected their first win of the season, defeating West End 45-37 to close out Friday night. Mike Castera led St. Paul's with 15pts. Bobby Kline chipped in 12 pts.
Mark Spencer led West End with 15 pts.
1/30: Lifehouse #2 collects WIN
Lifehouse # 2 collected a forfeited win over Nazarene.
1/30: St. James hold off Pathway for win, 56-55
Up by 8 at the break, St. James held off a second half surge to defeat Pathway 56-55. Michael Kelbaugh led the way 20 pts, while Scott Drury scored 13 pts, and Jeremy Custer chipped in 10 pts for St. James.
Nate Beard led all scorers with 24 pts, while Chad Basore added 12 pts for Pathway.
1/30: West End hands Hagerstown second straight loss
Down by two at the half, West End's Mark Spencer and Isaiah Saunders scored 30 of the teams 35 second half points to led West End over Hagerstown 67-65. Both Spencer and Saunders scored 26 pts apiece, while Lane Hessong added 10 pts.
Hagerstown Christian was led by David Ray and Marcus Hall, who both scored 17 pts each. Steve Boyd chipped in 15 pts for Hagerstown.
1/31: Lifehouse #1 comes out on top, defeats FCF 66-39
Lifehouse #1 ended the first half strong, and carried that momentum into the second to pull away from FCF for the 66-39 win Monday night. Mike Lum had the hot hand with 22 pts to lead Lifehouse. Kane Miller chipped in 11 pts, while David Linn and Tim Sowell both added 8 pts apiece.
Tony Hardcastle scored a team high 14 pts for FCF. Josh Lum added 7 pts.
1/31: Christ Community remains Undeated, tops St. Pauls 64-45
Tyrell Franks led the undefeated Christ Community with 19 pts, as they topped St. Paul's 64-45. Ed Beachley, who has been hot of late, added 14 pts. Tee Brown chipped in 12 pts, while Kevin Henson added 10 pts for Christ Community.
St Paul's was led be Bobby Kline with a team high 15 pts.
1/31: St. Mary's collects WIN
St. Mary's collected a forfeited WIN over Boonsboro
2/6: Lifehouse #1 battles through to defeat Hagerstown 73-64
With the score tied at 35 apiece at the break, Lifehouse #1 got a huge spark off the bench from Tim Sowell in the second half to hold off a tough Hagerstown team 73-64. Sowell scored 8 of his 11 pts in the second half, including some clutch FT's with time running out. Mike Lum powered Lifehouse with a team high 26 pts. Kane Miller added 11 pts, while Justin Price chipped in 10 for Lifehouse.
Steve Boyd was hot from deep all night, scoring a game high 28 points, Pete Yaos added 20 pts, and Marcus Hall dropped 14 pts for Hagerstown.
2/6: Pathway pulls out win over West End, 77-66
Pathway pounded the ball inside, getting 33 pts from big man Chad Basore, and pulled away from West End 77-66. Nate Beard dropped 20 pts, while Aaron Stottlemyer chipped in 11 pts for Pathway.
West End was led by Mark Spencer with 22 pts, and Isaiha Sanders with 18 pts. Brendon Williams also added 12 pts for West End.
2/6: St Mary's topples Nazarene, 76-47
St. Mary's used a great team effort to defeat Nazarene 76-47 to finish off Monday nights action. Four players from St. Mary's scored in double digits, with Jeff Britton leading the way with 16 pts. Brad Fisher and Brian Kenoyer both added 14 apiece, while Eddie Sweet chipped in 10 pts.
Kevin Liddle led the way for Nazarene, scoring 30 of the teams 47 total points for the game.
2/7: St. James has big first have, tops FCF 62-51
St. James built a 15 point lead before the half, and held off a little rally from FCF to collect 62-51 win Tuesday night. Michael Kelbaugh dropped his season high 29 pts to lead St. James. Alan Moore hit three 3's to go along with his 11 pts.
Josh Lum led the way for FCF, scoring all 17 of his points in the second half.
2/7: Lifehouse #2 explodes in second half, tops Boonsboro 68-39
Up by 8 points at the half, Lifehouse #2 outscored Boonsboro 39-18 in the second to come out on top, 68-39. Carlos Sanchez scored a game high 21 pts to led the way for Lifehouse. Paul Ficken, who has been hot as of late, dropped 16 pts while Josh Claggett added 11 pts including the teams only three 3-pointers.
Boonsboro was led by Derek Jeffrey with 14 pts, Brady Wink with 11 pts, and Josh sines with 10 pts.
2/7: St. Paul's collects win.

2/13: St. James tops Boonsboro, 75-43
St. James defeated Boonsboro Monday night 75-43. For the second straight game, Michael Kelbaugh topped his season high with 35 pts to lead St. James. Alan Moore dropped 12 pts with four 3's, and Dave Rogers added 10 pts for St. James.
Derek Jeffery led Boonsboro with 24 pts.
2/13: Lifehouse #1 finishes season strong, defeats St. Paul's 71-47
Lifehouse #1 defeated St. Paul's 71-47 to finish the regular season on a 10 game winning streak. Though only up by 4 points at the half, Lifehouse received a huge spark off the bench to close the game out against a scrappy St. Paul's team. Mike Lum finished with a game high 29 pts to lead Lifehouse to the win. Tim Sowell added 14 pts, and Steve Young finally put aside his coaching duties to drop 10 pts for Lifehouse.
St. Paul's was led by Josh Barron with 16 pts, while Bobby Kline chipped in 10 pts.
2/13: FCF hands St. Mary's 71-59 loss
FCF pulled out the win over St. Mary's 71-59 to finish off Monday nights action. While both teams had four players each in double figures, Dave Hardcastle led all scorers with 18 pts for FCF. Justin Caffarelli added 14 pts, Zach Weber chipped in 12 pts, and Sam Croteau finished with 12 pts for FCF.
Andrew Copobianco led the way for St. Mary's with 16 pts. Also scoring for St. Mary's was Otto Stahl with 12 pts, Jeff Britton with 11 pts, and Eddie Sweet with 10 pts.
2/14: West End hits 100 on Valentines Day.
West End became the first team to hit the century mark this season, easily defeating short handed Nazarene 101-72. Mark Spencer dropped 28 pts to lead West End, while Isaiha Sanders went for 20 pts of his own. Lane Hessong added 16 pts, while Cody Kershner chipped in 12 pts.
Isaac Anderson scored a team high 19 pts for Nazarene. Kevin Liddle chipped in 13 pts, and Darryl Brown added 12 pts.
2/14: Hagerstown holds on for 74-70 win over Christ Comm.
Up by 10 at the break, Hagerstown held off a late rally to pull off a 74-70 win over Christ Comm, giving CC their first loss of the season. Hagerstown had four players in double figures: Steve Boyd 19 pts, Marcus Hall 18 pts, Pete Yoas 17 pts, and David Ray with 16 pts.
Kevin Henson led all scorers with 26 pts for Christ Comm. Tee Brown dropped 21 pts, while Tyrell Franks added 13 pts. Ed Beachley chipped in 10 pts for Christ Comm.
2/14: Lifehouse #2 gets win over St. Andrew's, 64-40
Lifehouse #2 defeated St. Andrew's to wrap up Valentines day, 64-40. Carlos Sanchez scored a game high 24 pts to lead Lifehouse. Paul Ficken added 12 pts.
St. Andrews was led by JB Shaffer with 13 pts, and Andrew Ramirez with 12 pts.
2/20: Lifehouse #2 closes season on 5 game winning streak
Lifehouse #2 came together towards the end of the season, winning five in a row to finish 7-5. They topped St. Paul's in Monday nights opener, 52-35. Paul Ficken led the way for Lifehouse with 10 pts. Carlos Sanchez added 8 pts, while Jon Jich, Cornelius Prather, and Chris Grove each chipped in with 8 pts apiece.
St. Paul's, ending this year with one more win than last season, finished 2-10. Josh led St. Paul's with 10 pts.
2/20: West End holds on for 62-56 win over Boonsboro
Mark Spencer scored 17 of his 25 pts in the second half to help West End hold off Boonsboro 62-56. Isaiha Sanders also got hot in the second, scoring 12 of his 20 pts to help West End.
West End finishes their first season in the league with a 4-8 record, getting three of those wins in their last four games.
Derek Jeffery and Josh Sines both dropped 20 pts apiece to lead Boonsboro.
Boonsboro, who struggled this year with only five to six players, finished the season 1-11.
2/20: St. James doubles up on Nazarene, 82-43
St. James defeated Nazarene Monday 82-43 to finish the season in the top 4 of the league standings. Michael Kelbaugh led the way for St. James with a game high 28 pts. Alan Moore dropped 19 pts, while Dave Rogers added 16 pts.
St James, finished the season at 9-3, winning 6 of their last 7 games played.
Bret Stubbs hit six 3's in route to 18 pts to lead Nazarene. Kevin Liddle, Nazarene's leading scorer this year, finished with 10 pts.
Back in the league after 3 years off, Nazarene finished 2-10 on the season.
2/21: St. Mary's holds lead,defeats St. Andrew's, 62-57
St. Mary's held on to a three point lead most of the second half, and captured the win over St. Andrews 62-57. Otto Stahl lit up the paint with 20 pts, while Brad Fisher chipped in 16 pts for St. Mary's.
St. Mary's up and down season ended them at an even 6-6 record for the year.
Chris Rogers hit (8) 3's for a game high 26 points to lead St. Andrew's. Andrew Rameriez added 17 pts.
Last years runner up in the playoffs, St. Andrew's struggled towards the end of the season, losing their final 5 games in route to a 4-8 record.
2/21: FCF teams up on Chris Comm for 71-51 win
FCF defeated Christ Comm Tuesday night for the 71-51 win. Zach Weber scored a season high of 4 pts to lead FCF. Tony Hardcastle dropped 15 pts, while Josh Lum added 14 pts.
FCF lost a few tough games this year, but ended with two straight wins to finished off the season at 7-5.
Chris Community, who started the game with four players, got 18 pts for Kevin Henson before he fouled out mid way through the second half. Nate Hirsch hit (4) 3's to go along with his 15 pts. Tyrell Franks added 11 pts for Christ Comm.
Though they have lost their last two games, plus have struggled to have five players throughout the season, Christ Comm won their first 10 games straight and ended the season at 10-2.
2/21: OT Thriller for Pathway and Hagerstown
Taking the last game of the regular season into overtime, Pathway came out on top with a 73-69 win over Hagerstown. Pathway was trailing by nine points at the break, but received huge second half games from Nate Beard and Chad Basore. Beard scored 21 of his 27 pts in the 2nd, and Basore dropped 14 of his 22 pts in the final minutes and overtime.
Pathway finished the year at 7-5, winning six of their last seven games
Steve Boyd scored a game high 33 points to lead Hagerstown. Marcus Hall also dropped 24 pts, and David Ray added 12 pts.
Hagerstown started the year off strong, but lost four of their last five games to close out the year in 3rd place at 8-4.
2/27: Hagerstown gets big win over Boonsboro, 70-42
Hagerstown Christian ousted Boonsboro from the playoffs, defeated them 70-42 Monday night. Hagestown had three scorers in the twenties, as Marcus Hall led the game with 25 pts, Steve Boyd dropped 23 pts, and David Ray chipped in 20 pts.
Hagerstown will face Lifehouse #2 in Round 2 on Monday 3/6 @ 7:30 pm.
Brady Wink scored a team high 13 pts to lead Boonsboro. Josh Sines chipped in 10 pts.
2/27: Lifehouse #2 defeats St. Paul's, 61-38
Lifehouse #2 started the 2017 WCCBL playoffs off with a 61-38 win over St. Paul's. Carlos Sanchez heated up in the second half to end with 19 pts. Paul Ficken added 13 pts, and Jon Vich chipped in 10 pts for Lifehouse.
Lifehouse #2 will face Hagerstown Christian on Monday 3/6 @ 7:30pm.
St Paul's was led by Josh Barron with 9 pts, and Robert Wilson and Bobby Kline with 8 pts apiece.
2/27: Pathway knocks out Nazarene, 94-70
Pathway posted five players in double figures in route to a 94-70 win over Nazarene. Chad Basore led Pathway with 23 pts. Nate Beard dropped six 3's to finish with 18 pts, Tim Lady had a season high 18 pts, Justin Jones chipped in 12 pts, and Aaron Stottlemyer added 10 pts.
Pathway will face St. James in Round 2 tonight (Tuesday 3/28) @ 8:40 pm.
Kevin Liddle was the leading scorer for the game with 26 pts to help Nazarene cap off a good season in their return to the league. Matt McClure dropped in 18 pts hitting six 3's to do so. Darryl Brown added 12 pts for Nazarene.
2/28: FCF sends St. Andrews home, collects 54-47 win
FCF slowly pulled away in the second half, defeating St. Andrews 54-47 to advance to the Elite 8. Zach Weber led FCF with 17 pts, while Blake Nalley and Tony Hardcastle both added 14 pts apiece.
FCF will play #2 Chris Community on Monday 3/6 @ 6:20 pm.
Chris Rogers and Austin Marquis both chipped in 13 pts apiece for St. Andrews.
2/28: St. Mary's hands West End 49-37 loss
St. Mary's extended their halftime lead throughout the first minutes of the second, and ousted West End from the playoffs with a 49-37 win on Monday night. Brad Fisher, though showing up midway through the first half, led St. Mary's with 12 pts. Shawn Johnson chipped in 11 pts.
St. Mary's will take on top seed Lifehouse #1 on Monday 3/6 @ 8:40 pm.
West End was led by Isaiha Sanders with 15 pts, and Mark Spencer with 11 pts.
2/28: Pathway topples 3rd seed St. James, 62-50
Pathway slowed the pace, and held St. James to just 20 points in the second half to pull off the upset win, 62-50. Pathway got even scoring with four players in double figures. Justin Jones and James Scott both finished the night with 14 pts apiece. Nate Beard added 13 pts, and Chad Basore chipped in 11 pts.
Pathway has advance to the Final Four, and awaits the winner of FCF vs Christ Community.
Michael Kelbaugh had the lone hot hand with 21 pts to lead St. James.
3/6: Christs Comm. pulls out win over FCF, 48-43
Christ Comm, only starting the game with only 4 players, went into the second half down by 11 points. But a second half rally helped Christ Comm to outscore FCF 30-14 and pull away for the 48-43 win. Tee Brown led the team with 15 points, while Tyrell Banks added 13 points for Christ Comm.
Christ Comm will take on Pathway tonight @ 6:20 pm for first of two Final Four games.
Zach Weber scored a game high 17 pts for FCF. Josh Lum added 11 pts.
3/6: Lifehouse #2 battles through to defeat Hagerstown, 46-44
Both teams tied at the break, battled back and forth throughout the second half for a fantastic playoff finish. With seconds left on the clock, Chris Grove hit two foul shots to give Lifehouse #2 the lead and win over Hagerstown 46-44. Carlos Sanchez and Paul Ficken both dropped 10 pts each for Lifehouse. Anthony Griffin added 8 pts.
Lifehouse #2 win face Lifehouse #1, winner of Monday nights Game 3. This will be a rematch of last years semifinals.
Steve Boyd showed up late to the game, but still led his team with 13 pts. Pete Yaos added 12 pts, and David Ray chipped in 10 pts for Hagerstown.
3/6: Lifehouse #1 defeats a scrappy St. Mary's, 80-63
Lifehouse #1 slowly pulled away in the second half to get the win over St. Mary's 80-63. Mike Lum scored a game high 29 points to lead Lifehouse. Kane Miller hit five 3's in route to 23 pts, while Justin Price dropped 17 pts of his own.
Lifehouse #1 will take on Lifehouse #2 tonight @ 7:30 pm.
St. Mary's was led by Jeff Britton with 22 pts, and Andrew Copobianca with 21 pts.
3/7: Pathway advances to Championship with win over Christ Comm
It was a night of upsets, starting in Game 1 as the #6 seed Pathway defeated the #2 seed Christ Comm 45-34. Pathway held an eight point halftime lead throughout the second half. Chad Basore and Nate Beard led Pathway with 13 points apiece.
A new team in this year's league, Pathway advances to the Championship game Monday night 3/13 against the #5 seed Lifehouse #2.
Tee Brown led all scorers with 20 pts including six 3-pointers for Chris Community.
3/7: Double OT Thriller gives Lifehouse #2 the upset win!
To cap off an amazing night of basketball, the #5 seed Lifehouse #2 upset the #1 seed Lifehouse #1 63-60. Going into the second half with a two point lead, Lifehouse #2 controlled the paint to stay ahead of Lifehouse #1 for most of the way, even with Justin Price (Lifehouse #1) hitting four of his five 3's in the period. With only 20 seconds left in regulation, Mike Lum (Lifehouse #1) was fouled on a 3-pointer, making all three to help send the game into the first OT. Carlos Sanchez (Lifehouse #2) then kept Lifehouse #2 alive in both OT's dominating the paint.
In the end, it came down to a steal from Chris Grove (Lifehouse #2), and a foul on the other end by Nick Varner (Lifehouse #1) to send Grove to the foul line to shoot with only 3 seconds on the clock. Including the Technical Foul shot, Grove sank all three shots!
Carlos Sanchez scored a game high 30 pts to lead Lifehouse #2. Chris Grove chipped in with 12 pts of his own.
Lifehouse #2 will take on Pathway for the Championship game on Monday night 3/13 @ 6:20 pm.
Mike Lum scored a team high 24 pts including nine points from the foul line. Justin Price hit five 3's to go along with his 19 pts for Lifehouse #1.
Lifehouse #1 ends their season with an 12-2 record.
3/13: Lifehouse #2 Wins 2017 Championship over Pathway, 63-48
Lifehouse #2 cap off a great season winning the 2016-2017 WCCBL Championship Monday, defeat Pathway 63-48. After starting the season at 2-7, Lifehouse finish the year on a 9 game win streak.
Anthony Griffin led the way for Lifehouse with 15 pts. Chris Grove added 11 pts, and Paul Ficken chipped in 10 pts.
Congratulations to Team Lifehouse #2!!!!!
Pathway, new to the league this year, fought hard throughout the playoffs, upsetting the #2 and #3 seeded teams to make it to the Championship Game.

The East Stars got some hot shooting from Isaiha Sanders (17 pts) and Tim Sowell (13 pts), defeating the West Stars 53-42 in Monday's ALL-Fellowship All Star game.
