Game 1; BCYL JV Knigths vs Cumberland Dukes

The Buckingham County Youth League Junior Varsity Football team came out scoring very early in the 1st period with a Touchdown; retreaving an Onside Kick and scoring another TD very quickly. By Halftime, the Knights ended with a 21-0 score. 

The 2nd Half, the JV Knights scored another touchdown early in the 3rd period. While cruising to the victory, the Dukes scored late in the 4th quarter as the Knights finished the game 28-7. 

The next game the BCYL JV will go against the new kids on the James River block, the Halifax Comets. Game date/time: August 30th at approx. 11am.

Getting Ready for the Jamboree and Game "1"

The Buckingham County Youth League Junior Varsity football team is getting ready for a lot of running in the heat for the upcoming Jamboree. They are also getting ready for Game 1 that is only a week away. The first game is against the Dukes from Cumberland Parks and Recreation. The date and time: August 23rd approximately 12:00 pm. The game will start right after the Minors football game.

Second Day of Practice

Coming off a Super Bowl run last season the coaches are focus on making another run. It all start with the basics. Teaching the fundamentals of playing football. And the Buckingham County Youth League Junior Varsity Football Team has the coaches to get our players ready.
