Josh Melton Joins the 10-Year Club

May 4, 2016

Congratulations to Josh Melton for becoming a member of the 2016 class to join the CAN Events Agency 10 Year Club. Josh was discovered playing pick up basketball at the MacEwan gym by Chuma Nwobosi as he was preparing for his 1st year as head coach of the NAIT Ooks in the summer of 2004. Josh was raw, passionate and athletic. He quickly soaked up the college environment and thrived in a system with structure and discipline. His basketball intelligence grew exponentially in his 2 years at NAIT and he was extremely efficient in his role as he learned how to free his teammates for open looks and capitalize on his strengths to attack mismatches. Josh averaged over 50% shooting from the field in his college career and had a reputation as a teammate that could be counted on to provide defense, toughness and consistency.

Congratulations Josh!
