The Varsity Boys Completed an Outstanding Season as they went into the Division 1 State Finals as the #1 Ranked Team in Division 1 and beat out 16 other teams to make the state finals against Salem High School.
In an exciting match of 2 Baker Games and 1 Single Game (5 bowlers) the team was down by 44 pins after the 2 baker games and then trailed Salem going into the final frame of the singles games, but the team was able to pull it out in the tenth frame by winning 1454 to 1449 and bring home Utica Eisenhower's First State Bowling Championship since 2004.

Varsity Boys bowlers landed into the 14th seed out of 16 and then went all the way to the Championship Game.
Lake Shore High School defeated the boys in the 3 Baker Team totals, so Eisenhower took home the much earned 2nd place finish.
The Junior Varsity Boys made it all the way to the Final 8 but could not advance to the final 4.

Once again, the lane conditions were difficult and our teams persevered to fight all the way to the end.

Tri County Varsity Tournament
Varsity Boys bowled a 266 in their final qualifying game to get into the final round of 16 as the 15th seed.
The boys went on to eliminate the number 2 seed (Lakeshore) by taking the first 2 baker games (best out of 3 series).
In the next round the boys took Detroit Catholic Central to the full 3 game baker set, but fell short in the last game by 5 pins.
It was a tough day of bowling but we are proud of how the boys stuck with it and made it into the final rounds.
The varsity girls continue to make strides in the tournaments as they worked through a tough stretch of bowling, but they are improving every week.
Continue to battle on girls, as your hard work will pay off.
