Coach Volunteer Clearances Checklist (Pennsylvania)

All volunteers/coaches who have direct contact with minors must complete and submit the following clearances before participating in practices or games. These clearances remain valid for 5 years (60 months). Curret, valid clearances obtained for other volunteer roles are accepted. 

1. PA State Police Criminal History (Act 34)/PA Access to Criminal History (PATCH)

2. PA Child Abuse History Clearance (Act 151) *use or create individual account 

3. Coaches who have been a resident of Pennsylvania for 10 consecutive years must sign the FBI background check waiver and are not required to obtain a certification through the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). Please click here for waiver.

Coaches who have not lived in Pennsylvania for the past 10 consecutive years must complete a FBI Fingerprint Registration (Code: 1KG6ZJ)
