Coach Mark Wood began his coaching career at Cactus High School, and had the opportunity to coach at all levels including four years as the head varsity coach. Coach Wood took two years off of coaching when his daughters were young to spend more time with his family, and returned to coaching at Liberty High School. He currently teaches Psychology and Driver Education. He has also taught Health and English.  Coach Wood is heavily involved with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Coach Marcus has coached for over ten years at the high school level. He has been a Freshman, JV,  and Varsity head coach. Along with basketball Coach Marcus has also had the opportunity to coach football. He has taught PE, Health and Weight Training for the past several years. He attended Arizona State University and is a huge Sun Devil fan.
