Welcome to the home of the USA Pickleball Mid-South Region! We are a non-profit organization that oversees pickleball activities in 4 states: Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Texas. What is an Ambassador?
Ambassadors are volunteers who have pledged to promote the sport of pickleball and the USA Pickleball in the local area they have applied to represent. Find a list of ambassadors in your area here. They may be individuals or couples, or a group of ambassadors working together as a team. The main prerequisite is a love of the sport and the desire to share our game with others of all ages. Apply to become an Ambassador for your local community!
Skill Ratings
As you play pickleball and progress through your skills, player's will "earn" a skill rating that is a reflection of their overall skill at that time. This rating can be used to enter into tournaments and is a good benchmark for you as a player.
Places2Play
Where can you play pickleball? Places2Play.org is a great resource to use and find out where pickleball is happening near you. Let your local Ambassador know if a location needs updating or a new location needs to be added. Check out the website or go here for more information.
Referees
Refereeing can be easy and fun! The more thoroughly you know the rules and the more matches you referee using the standardized, tried-and-tested best practices, the easier it becomes. Click here to find many tools designed to help you learn more about being a referee, whether it is the basics so you can help at your local tournament or in preparation for becoming a USAPA Certified Referee so you can officiate at major events.

What is Pickleball?
It is a paddle sport created for all ages and skill levels. The rules are simple and the game is easy for beginners to learn, but can develop into a quick, fast-paced, competitive game for experienced players. Pickleball is a fun sport that combines many elements of tennis, badminton and ping-pong. and is played both indoors or outdoors on a badminton-sized court and a slightly modified tennis net. It can be played singles or doubles and is played with a paddle and a plastic ball with holes. Find more information on the rules and how to play the game.
