Please let your volunteers/coaches know that we no longer use Averity.com (protect youth sports)

for background checks. The account has been cancelled so if they apply through us it will not be

processed.  The links to pa state police and the DEP for Child Abuse clearances can be found on

our website www.ridleytwp.org under parks and rec.  

 

Consistent with Act 153 which was signed by Gov. Corbett in 2014 those are required of all volunteers working with children.  An FBI check is also required in addition to the other two if the volunteer candidate has lived outside PA within the past 10 years.
