Great Job 14s at a 16 team mixed tournament this past Saturday. After sweeping everybody in their pool, including a Pitt Elite Open team, Pittsburgh 3 rivers and Aiva - they went on to finish 5th! That's a great finish at a mixed tourney and I think we'll be seeing more from this group.

Both 15s teams played well all day at Fairview. 15 Black finished 2nd in thier pool and was knocked out of the semi's by the tournament winner Epic, Black finished 3rd overall. 15 Blue took every team to a 3rd set - except Epic, and we expect a trip to Gold Bracket for them next tournament also. Great job ladies - (we need someone to upload some photos to your dropbox so we can post them).

The 16 Blue wins the New Castle Tournament for the first tourney win of the year and didn't lose a single set all day. Ending up 10-0. Nice job ladies! Who's next?

The 17s came to play at New Castle and wanted to follow-up 16 Blue's success on Saturday with one of their own. The Spartan Club completed the weekend sweep at New Castle and the 17's also went 10-0 through the day. Great Start for the 17s!

Way to go Spartan 14s - A big win at the Family First Complex in a 12 team tournament. 

There were 16 teams at Mt. Union College and our Spartans fought their way to the finals, first by winning their pool and then by knocking out two other Gold bracket qualifiers. And although they played strong, they fell in a 3-set final. They played well and turned a lot of heads all day long. Great job Ladies!

Spartan 16 Black wins at Cal U beating Pittsburgh3Rivers in the championship 2-0. They went undefeated all day. The Spartan Tide continues!!

After a tough pool play round - the 17s jumped on the throttle to plow through 3 - Gold bracket teams on thier way to a Championship at the 16-team tournament at Pinnacle sports - outscoring their opponents 150-78 in the playoffs.  Way to go Ladies!

Spartan 16 Black wins at St. Vincent - not giving up any sets again this weekend! Great Job ladies - you've only given up any sets this season to one team in 3 tournaments.

Spartan 13s, 15 Black and 17s all make gold brackets and 15 blue made Silver bracket. 15 Black finishes 3rd Gold, 13s and 17s 5th Gold and 15 Blue 3rd Silver.

Spartan 14 win 16-Team tournament at Mercyhurst. Knocking off Penn Highlands, Pitt United and Aiva in the playoffs to get there. Well done Spartans!!

Our Spartan 13's had another fun outing at Case Western University in Cleveland. These young ladies had a blast this year with Coach Donnelly, they showed that Spartan Pride at every tournament and we can expect big things from these ladies next year! Great Job 13's!!

The 14's take the championship at Franciscan University to close out their amazing season. Winning 3 of 4 tournaments they entered into. Very impressive!

The 16 Black wins at the Monroeville Sports Center Winning their pool and defeating PVC and Westmoreland Elite to win the Championship. Congrats to All!

16 Blue takes the title at Edinboro. Another great weekend for the 16 year old teams!

The 17 Black fought well, but ended up claiming the #2 spot at Monroeville.

Over on the 15's side, the 15 Blue made the Gold and finished with a 3rd place and 15 Black claimed the Silver Bracket title. All in all, a lot of improvement by the 15 year old teams and great promise for these girls in the future. We hope to see you next Club season!
