Barry Blickenstaff

Barry coaches with depth and understanding, and he has been recognized as the Frederick News Post Coach of the Year. He has seen 10 of his high school athletes continue on playing at the collegiate level.  4 played at Division-1 colleges including 1 who also played professionally overseas.

    • 20+ years for public high school at the 9th, JV and Varsity (boys) levels,
      overall Varsity Boys record 97-24
    • 7 years homeschool basketball (girls)
    • 3 League Championships (public school varsity boys)
    • 1 Regional Championship (public school varsity boys)
    • Div. 1-A East Coast Regional Championship (homeschool girls)
    • Div. 2-A East Coast Regional Championship (homeschool girls)
    • Div. 1 Maryland State Christian School Championship (HS girls)

He has also coached baseball, soccer, and golf in the public school system.

Barry has a desire to not only see athletes excel in the sport of basketball, but become Champions for Christ off the court as well.

Rebecca Reifsnider
Rebecca draws on her previous athletic experiences to assist her players in reaching their full potential and to prepare them for the possible opportunity to compete at the collegiate level. 

Rebecca has played basketball competitively for 11 years. She was a member of a local homeschool team and was coached by Barry Blickenstaff. During her high school career, she scored 1580 points and grabbed 1221 rebounds. She was named to the First Team All-Gazette in 2009, and was selected to participate in the Frederick City-County All Star Classic in 2010. 

She then attended Bridgewater College, and competed as a NCAA Division III basketball athlete for all four years. She served as a team captain her senior season, was presented with the team contribution award by her teammates and coaches, and was awarded the Harold & Carol Lehman Sportsmanship Award by the Bridgewater College Athletic Department. 

In the summer of 2014, Rebecca had the opportunity to play internationally when she was chosen to travel to Scotland with USA Athletes International and compete against 3 of the top 4 teams in that country. 

Rebecca is committed to not only challenging the athletes to excel on the court, but she also is determined to challenge them to give God their best in every aspect of their lives. The verse she has chosen to live by is Colossians 3:23.

 

Charity Poole

Charity began playing basketball at the age of 10. She had four successful years through high school and was coached by Barry Blickenstaff. It was during her junior and senior years that she developed a greater passion for the sport of basketball. Since graduating high school in 2010, she has been an assistant coach for two years. In 2012 she became the head coach of the girls’ Middle School team. She has three younger siblings who continue to play for Frederick Force teams. Charity is a leader with an excellent ability to motivate the Middle School girls, and she imparts a joyful passion for God.

 

Nick Krop

Nick began playing basketball in grade school and he developed to the varsity level in high school. He was a homeschooled student during his 11th and 12th grade years of high school.

He played at the collegiate level (NCAA Division 3) while attending Crown College in Minnesota. As a versatile athlete, he also competed in Cross Country running. 

His academic accomplishments include a double major graduating with Magna Cum Laude honors. 

Nick’s versatility is also evident as he handles many professional roles including realty and also property management for numerous companies.

Nick and his wife Aleta were married in 2015. They welcomed their first child in the fall of 2016.
