What day of the week are games played on?
All rocket games are played on Saturday between 8 AM and 4 PM (times vary depending on location) The time of day you cheer will depend on the age group, and league schedule. These are posted the Wednesday prior to the game, giving us 3 days notice of "exactly" when games will be played.
Flag games are played Tuesday and Thursday in the evening and a game schedule will be handed out after practices start. Flag teams usually cheer 2 evenings per week.
How long are practices?
Practices are 1.5 hours long on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-7:30.

Practices are typically Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6pm-7:30pm

Home games are played on the Varsity Football Field.

I have more than one child interested in cheerleading, can they be on the same team?
We divide our teams according to rocket football guidelines, additionally the amount of stunting our cheerleaders are allowed to do is based on their age.
K, 1st & 2nd graders cheer at Flag Football with no stunting
3rd & 4th graders cheer for the 8 & 9 yr old division and stunt to hip level.
5th & 6th graders cheer for the 10 & 11 yr old division and stunt to shoulder level.
Younger cheerleaders may not be placed in the next division up, however older cheerleaders may cheer with a younger division. Please let us know at registration if your family has any questions.
