Varsity

Head Coach Austin Ford - Ford is a 2004 graduate of Westerville North, where he was selected as First Team All-State Goalie.  He went on to play at Mercyhurst North-East, being named captain as a freshman before transferring to Saint Leo University, the first NCAA program in the state of Florida. As the starting goalie, he set a school record for saves in a game that went unbroken until 2018 before switching to faceoff midfield in 2007.  Shortly before graduation, Coach Ford began his career as an assistant at Wesley Chapel High School in Tampa, Florida before moving back home to join Dublin Jerome’s 2010 state championship staff as the faceoff and goalie coach. Since then, he has been a Head Coach at Westerville North High School, where he produced more than two dozen All-OCC / All-Region players, with one OCC-Player of the Year, along with the first Under Armour All American from Westerville. He also coached the Worthington Cardinals middle school team from 2016-2018, where they won a state championship in 2017 and fourth place in 2018. Coach Ford has worked camps and clinics across the Midwest and East Coast, such as Resolute, Titanium, PEAK Performance, Pilat and OSU position camps. Coach Ford is a Social Studies teacher for Columbus City Schools.

Drew Gouhin - Offensive Coordinator - Coach Gouhin is a 2015 graduate of Olentangy High School, where he was a four time letter winner, and Second Team All Region in both his junior and senior year.  Coach Gouhin would go on to Ohio Wesleyan University, where he was a three year letter winner at attack and graduated with a degree in Finance Economics in 2019. He is currently a Financial Advisor for Merrill Lynch in Dublin. 

Chris Azzarello - Varsity Assistant, Midfield Assistant - Coach Azzarrello is a 2015 graduate of the Princeton Day School in New Jersey. He earned All-Prep his junior and senior year as an attackman. Following high school, Chris attended Ohio Wesleyan University and earned two letters and graduated with a Finance Economics degree in 2019. Coach Azzarrello has spent time with the NJLC high school club team, and also Center Court Sports in New Jersey.  He is currently a junior Financial Analyst for LAZ Parking in Downtown Columbus.

JV

Sam Comacho - JV Head Coach, Defensive Assistant -  Coach Comacho is a 2018 graduate of Olentangy High School, where he lettered four times.  His lacrosse background includes nine years of club lacrosse with Resolute, and seven years of competitive box lacrosse experience. Coach Comacho is a current member of the Ohio College Box League’s Stags, and Louisville Canards Senior B box team.  Along with being a US Lacrosse Certified Official, he is also a coach for the Lacrosse Academy. He is a sophomore Communications major at Ohio State University.

Cody Beyer - JV Assistant Coach, Defensive Assistant - Coach Beyer graduated from Trinity High School of Garfield Heights, Ohio in 2013 as a defensive starter and captain. He would play lacrosse at Baldwin Wallace University before transferring to University of Toledo, where he was a two time captain for the club team. After graduation, Coach Beyer came to Ohio State University, where he is a member of the Men’s club team and is in graduate school for Pharmacy. Coach Beyer has also coached various lacrosse and football clinics since high school.

Riley Bruening - JVB Head Coach, Offensive Assistant - Coach Bruening is a 2018 graduate of Olentangy High School, where he was a three year letter winner and a member of both Resolute and Titanium.  As a player, his accolades include First Team All OCC, Second Team All Region, and Honorable Mention All-MSCLA. Coach Bruening is currently attending University of Cincinnati as a member of their nationally ranked NCLL team, and has coached in various camps and clinics. As a student, he is majoring in Engineering - Construction Management and completing his co-op for Elford, Inc in Dublin.
