The Reisterstown Recreation Council karate program is an ongoing program that meets Monday and Wednesday evenings at Reisterstown Regional Park's Sportsplex. The registration fee is $25 for one night a week for 10 weeks. $40 for two nights a week for ten weeks. The registration fee is prorated for anyone who signs up mid-session.

The goals of this program include the development of the body and mind to work as one, and to learn a martial art that includes self-defense, physical fitness and discipline while gaining self-respect and confidence.

If you or your child is interested in learning more about our karate program, please feel free to stop by the Reisterstown Regional Park's Sportsplex at 401 Mitchell Drive, Reisterstown, MD 21136 any Monday and Wednesday evening and observe a class.

Mondays, 7:00 - 8:00 pm: Children ( 8 - 12 years of age )

Mondays, 8:15 - 9:15 pm: Adults ( 13 years of age and older )

Wednesday, 7:00 - 8:00 pm: Children ( 8 - 12 years of age )

Wednesday, 8:15 - 9:15 pm: Adults ( 13 years of age and older )

All classes are taught by Shihan William Nusz, the chief instructor for Nihon Takaiyama dojo, President of the US Shorinjiryu Kenkokan Federation, and President of the US Koshiki Karatedo Federation.

Shihan Nusz is an international Referee and has refereed and performed demonstrations in the United States, Canada, Japan, Switzerland, Australia, Portugal, Disney World Martial Arts Festival, Disney Wide World of Sports, Orlando, Florida, and Disneyland Martial Arts Festival, Anaheim, California.
