The NMCSL was founded in 1995 and provides an opportunity for the teams in the League to promote Christian fellowship through competition and camaraderie.

The League plays on Saturday mornings, beginning the first Saturday of March, and continues through the summer months, culminating with a champion being crowned in a best two out of three series on Championship Saturday.

The League is a men's league, but women have played before and are not excluded from any team.
