Michael Cipot 

Head Football Coach / Defensive Coordinator

• 7th year as Head Coach of Raider Football (48-15 record).  17th year coaching and 11th year at NBTHS.  He led the Raiders to the Group 5 State Final in 2021 for the third time in school history, and his second appearance in the title game.  2022 and 2020 BCC National Silver Division Titles and a 2019 White Division Title.  North Brunswick has been ranked in the top ten in all of Group 5 since 2018.  In 2018, the Raiders went 10-2 marking the most wins in a season along with a trip to the Group 5 State Finals for the first time since 1979.  All Time Leader in Winning Percentage at NBTHS Football.  The 6 consecutive winning seasons (2017 to present) ranks 2nd all time.  NBTHS Defensive Coordinator in 2016 and Special Teams Coordinator of the 2010 Division Champion and State Semi-Final Team.
• 2020 BCC National Silver and Central Jersey Radio Coach of the Year.  2019 White Division Coach of the Year and New York Jets High School Coach of the Week.  2018 GMC Coach of the Year. 
• Former Defensive Coordinator at Immaculata High School under Hall of Fame Head Coach Tom Falato.  Also a former Defensive Coordinator at Metuchen High School under former NBTHS and Hall of Fame Head Coach Sal Mistretta.  Coached in the State Playoffs with all three schools.
• Graduate of NBTHS and Captain of the 2000 Division Championship Football Team earning All White Division and All County Honorable Mention honors as a senior.  Also played basketball at NBTHS.
• Graduate of Wesley College (B.S) and Seton Hall University (M.A).  Played Tight End at Division III power Wesley College earning All-Academic Team Honors. Special Assistant to the Offensive Coordinator for Wesley's 2005 NCAA South Region Champion team.
• Supervisor of Health and Physical Education K-12 in North Brunswick.  Resides in Middlesex County with his wife Lauren and their children Anthony and Camryn.

Dan Gorzynski

Offensive Coordinator / QB's 

• 3rd year at NBTHS.  Served as the Special Teams Coordinator for the State Finalist Raiders in 2021.  Offensive Coordinator in 2022 which ranked 3rd all time in points per game average (27.8).  The 45 points scored vs. Hunterdon Central in the 2022 playoffs ranked as the 5th highest points scored in a game in NBTHS history.
• 7th year overall including two years as the Offensive Coordinator at Jackson Liberty and three years at South Brunswick including the 2017 State Championship season. 
• Graduate of South Brunswick High School where he played football, lacrosse, and hockey for the Vikings. Earned All-GMC Football and Lacrosse as a senior. 
• Graduate of the College of Wooster with a B.A. in History with a minor in Education. Two-sport athlete for the Fighting Scots in Football and Lacrosse where he was a captain.
• Currently teaching History at NBTHS.  Resides in Monmouth County. 

Paul Day

 Offensive Line 

• 7th year overall at NBTHS.  Leads an offensive line that has produced multiple 2,000 yard rushing seasons.  Head Freshman Coach in 2017.
• 25th year coaching at the High School level including an 18 year coaching career at Franklin High School.  At Franklin, coached at all levels and most recently served as the varsity offensive line coach.
• Graduate of Franklin High School where he played center for the Warriors 1994 Central Jersey Group 3 State Championship Football Team. 
• Graduate of Kean University (B.S).  Played two years of college football at Stony Brook University for the Seawolves.
• Middle School health and physical education teacher in Franklin.  He resides in Somerset County with his wife Heather and their children Audra, Vincent, and Joseph.
  

James Lopez 

Special Teams Coordinator / Running Backs / Linebackers

• 1st year at NBTHS.  Coaching as the Special Teams Coordinator along with Running Backs and Linebackers at NBTHS
• 4th year overall coaching; including 3 years at Sayreville which inlcuded Freshman, JV and the Strength Coach
• Graduate of Sayreville High School where he played football for the Bombers
• Graduate of Seton Hall University with a B.A. in English and Education
• Currently teaching English at NBTHS.  Resides in Middlesex County. 

Kyle Harkins 

Safeties / Running Backs 

• 3rd year at NBTHS.  Coaching the secondary for the Raiders focusing on the Safeties.  Helped lead a defense in 2022 that only surrendered 132 points all year.
• 6th year overall coaching including two years at Spotswood and one year at Watchung Hills.  
• Graduate of Spotswood High School where he played football for the Chargers.
• Graduate of William Paterson University with a B.A. in Communications. Captain and three year starter at linebacker earning Honorable Mention Honors as a senior for the Pioneers Football Program.  
• Currently teaching Education in the Spotswood School District.  Resides in Middlesex County. 

Kevin Totten

Defensive Line 

• 4th varsity season, 7th year overall at NBTHS.  Head Freshman Coach in 2019 and also is on the baseball staff for the Raiders. 
• Graduate of NBTHS and Captain of the 2009 Football Team.  All-Area Defensive Tackle, GMC Sportsmanship Award and selected to play in the 2010 Snapple Bowl.  Three sport athlete at NBTHS (football, baseball, basketball).  
• Graduate of Coastal Carolina University earning a B.S in History. 
• Teacher in the History Department at NBTHS.  Resides in Middlesex County with his wife Krista.

Raheem Byrom 

Linebackers / Running Backs 

• 5th year at NBTHS.  Coaching the Linebackers and Running Backs.
• 6th year overall coaching football; including coaching Track and Basketball at NBTHS
• Graduate of NBTHS ('98).  Point guard on the 1997 GMC Championship North Brunswick Basketball Team.
• Graduate of Monmouth University with a B.A. in Criminal Justice.; two year starter at wide receiver and voted "Most Improved Player" in 2001.  
• Currently teaching in North Brunswick School District at NBTMS.  Resides in Middlesex County. 

Jake Rosenberg  

Wide Receivers / Defensive Backs 

• 3rd varisty season, 5th year overall at NBTHS.  Head JV Football Coach in 2020, and also served as Special Teams Coordinator.
• Head Varsity Baseball Coach at Piscataway Vo-Tech High School.
• Graduate of NBTHS.  Key member of the 2010 Division Champion and State Semi-Finalist Football Team earning All County Honorable Mention Honors.  Also played baseball at NBTHS earning All County Honorable Mention Honors.
• Graduate of the University of Missouri, School of Journalism (B.A). 
• Works at Innovative Document Imaging.  Resides in Middlesex County.

Brett Gray

Offensive Line / JV Defense

• 2nd year on the Raider Staff.  Will work with the Offensive Line as well as the JV Defensive Coordinator.
• Coached Middle School Football at South Brunswick.
• Graduate of West Milford High School earning All Conference as a senior for the Highlanders.
• Four year letter winning Offensive Tackle at Chapman University (CA) winning the SCIAC Conference Title in 2011.  
• Graduate of Chapman University (BA) in Music Arts and Westminister Choir Collge (MA).  Currently teaching choir and music theory at NBTHS and resides in Warren County. 

Anthony Fischer

Wide Receivers / Defensive Backs / JV Offense

• 2nd year on the Raider Staff.  Will work with wide receivers and defensive backs as well as the JV Offense Coordinator
• Coached 7 years of lacrosse at the high school level, 3 years as an assistant for the Raiders lacrosse team
• Graduate of East Brunswick High School where he played wide reciever and quarterback for the Bears.
• Two year Lacrosse letter winner at Stockton University (NJ).  
• Graduate of Kean University (BA).  Currently teaching at North Brunswick HS in Physical Education and resides in Mercer County.
