Charles 'Shrimp' Englehardt

-NVHS head coach from 1930-1938. In his nine seasons at NVHS he won 3 sectional and 2 regional titles. In 1934 he guided the Panthers to the state finals at Butler Fieldhouse. In 1937, the first year of the Semi-State round in the state tournament, he guided the Panthers to the final 8 where the Panthers fell to eventual state champions, Anderson.

Ted Server

-A star for the 1950 state champs, Madison, and a letterwinner at Purdue University, Ted was the NVHS Head Coach in the 1958 and 1959 seasons. The Panthers won sectional titles both years he was at the helm. After which he moved to Franklin High School for a long and distinguished career.
