Thank you for your interest in becoming a Arlington Steelers Coach for the new season.
Being part of the staff of a team of young people ia an exciting way to be involved in sports, but it isn't easy. There are many responsibilities involved in helping our young athelets through their early sporting experiences,It involves teaching proper football/ cheer techniques all while emphasizing safety. as a parent, you are responsible to yourself and your child. As a Football / Cheer coach head or assistant. you are responsible for all the playerson your team (including yoiur child) and their parents. All coaches must exhibit conduct that is consistant with our code of conduct. The head coach has the final determining of participants position. Each assistant coach is assigned a offensive or defensive position as a coach. The steelers organization has been very successful with its offensive and defensive game plans. As an assistant it is your responsililty to learn our game plans and procedures. A steelers coach assumes the responsibility to do everythingpossible to ensure that each player will have an enjoyable and safe experiencewhile they participate in the program. If you are ever in doubt about your approach, remind yourself that fun, fundamentals and safety are most important.
Head Coach Jordan Malone - Flag Football Ages 5 & 6
Each team in the tackle division starting with the sophomore division will learn the Steelers Offense & Defense
Head Coach: Clyde Brawley Sophomore Team ages 7 & 8
Fundamentals are stressed on this team with or first level offense and defense
Head Coach London Williams Junior Team Ages 9 &10
On this level offensive productivity is increased as experience, physicality and speed of game increases.
Head Coach: Director Senior Level Ages 11& 12
No holds bared as this level get ready for middle school.
Assistant Coaches Positions Open for all teams.
Offensive Line - Teach offensive line procedures
Defensive Line - Teach defensive line procedures
Special Teams - Teach kickoff and kickoff return procedures
Linebackers - Teach how to read react and fill holes
Cornerbacks - Teach coverage and how to contain.
Recievers - Teach passing routes
Offensive Backs - Teach holes,agility and proper running techniques.
Requirements
All coaches must pass a back ground check.
Complete the online USA certification Training.
All coaches must attend our coaches meeting.
Interested candidates must coach in pour spring flag football League for good experience.

The AMYSA youth program provides recreational and competitive opportunities for boys and girls in Flag football.
Whether a player views flag footballl as a new sport to learn, as a way to have fun with friends,
or as a path to our tackle football program. The AMYSA youth program has something for them
Foremost, the goal of the AMYSA youth program is to help aspiring young athletes learn a sport
they can enjoy for a lifetime in a positive, safe, and supportive environment.
