Markham Women's Slo-Pitch League

Hello Squashers !

 

Hope everyone is having a great summer and ball season too.     It’s that time of year that we need to start planning for a winter sport (and social activity).     Sandy and I have been in touch with the Parkway Racquet Club to explore options and determine if they are open to our group playing there again this year.     There is new management at the Club so we weren’t sure we could make it a go, but after meeting with them, and a couple of phone calls, we are happy to report that they are open to us coming back on Fridays.   As expected – they explained that they would have to increase the court rates, even so, we believe we can make it work without changing the registration fee of $160. 

 

Moving forward with the league is dependent on us getting enough participants to make it financially viable   

 

We’d love to see everyone back on the courts – hoping you can make it.    Also, if you know anyone else who is interested please ask them to contact me directly.

 

Tentative start date (pending Club approval and provided it does not conflict with the MWSL banquet) would be Friday October 19^th
