HOW ARE THE TEAMS SELECTED?

CAN I REQUEST A TEAM ASSIGNMENT?

Players will be placed on teams to ensure parity and competitiveness across the divisions, thus requests for team assignments may not always be honored.  Siblings in the same age division will be placed on the same team.

WHEN WILL I BE NOTIFIED OF MY TEAM ASSIGNMENT?

Teams will be announced via email in late-August and rosters will be posted to the EGFFL site.

DOES MY PLAYER NEED EQUIPMENT?

EGFFL provides each player with a reversible NFL jersey and flag belt.  Cleats (no metal spikes) and mouth guards are recommended, but not required.

WHAT IS THE EGFFL COMBINE?

The EGFFL Combine is our yearly gathering for all new and returning players to have some fun participating in football drills similar to those at the NFL Combine (IE. 40-yard dash, passing, receiving, etc.).  It is meant to be fun and informal, but we do use the opportunity to evaluate players to ensure parity when creating our rosters for the upcoming season.

WHEN DOES THE SEASON START?

EGFFL is a fall sport that starts in early-September and runs through early-November.

WHEN ARE THE GAMES PLAYED?

The 11/12 and 13/14 divisions play on Thursday nights, and the 5/6, 7/8, 9/10 and Challenger divisions play on Friday nights.

WHERE ARE THE GAMES PLAYED?

Games are played at Eldredge Field (EG), Cragan Field (EG) and Wide World of Indoor Sports (NK).

EGFFL is intended to be a one-day per week commitment.  The schedule consists of a 45-60 minute practice and a 45-minute game immediately following practice.

WHAT IS YOUR INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY?

Decisions on game cancellations due to inclement weather will be made at least 60 minutes prior to your scheduled game times, and will be communicated by the league.

CAN I BECOME A SPONSOR?
