MANCHESTER SENIOR SOFTBALL LEAGUE
MANCHESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ

The Manchester Softball Senior League (MSSL) has been in existence since 1987. The league is open to Manchester residents who are 55 years of age and older.  For other Ocean Township residents' the minimum age requirement is 60. and over.   The Season runs from April until July and games are played, on Monday and Wednesday mornings, 

The league has one division, recreation.  The league is designed for players who are not considered A Plus, or A- . New players applying to the league through the draft will be vetted to ensure they are not high-profile players.  This is a competitive recreation league.  The majority of the players are considered C, with a smattering of B, B-  and B+ players.

MSSL is an independent league that hires umpires from Ocean County Independent Umpiring Association.  General rules are based on the USA rule book with modifications to USA rules that are strictly written for this league.
