We lost a friend when Samuel K. Johnson, longtime Founder and Director of the Liberty City Optimist(Warriors) and founder of the Super Peewee division passed away unexpectedly. Sam was an icon and mentor to the children who passed through the successful programs he ran. Coach Sam was a friend and strong supporter of Miami Dade/Broward Super Peewee League and offered us valuable advise which helped our league continue to grow... He will truly be missed.
