The Prairieville Broncos Youth Football Organization is one of the nine teams that make up the Southern Louisiana Youth Football Association or "SLYFA". The Prairieville Bronco Football Organization is a non-profit organization that has been serving the children of our community for over 25 years. It allows local children between the ages of 5 and 12 to learn the fundamentals of the game and the concepts of teamwork, commitment, and sportsmanship. We take pride in keeping children occupied and involved in an enjoyable American past time. As with other teams in SLYFA, we raise money for our organization through gate sales, concession sales, traditional fund raising and donations from local sponsors. Our expenses include the following but are not limited to: insurance, fees to SLYFA, certification of coaches, trophies, banquets, parties, referee fees, team uniforms, football practice equipment, practice field and game day field rental fees, first aid, and concession items.

The season starts August 1st of each year and ends in the middle of November.

The age groups are as follows:
A Team (11 & 12 years old)
B Team (9 & 10 years old)
C Team (7 & 8 years old)
D Team (5 & 6 years old)

We also have cheerleader squads for the teams.

The Prairieville Broncos practices and home games are at the High Schools and Middle Schools in East Ascension parish.
