August 18th, 2014 Board of Directors Meeting Minutes

Club Pictures	Club pictures will be taken at Butler Stadium this Sunday August 24th. Tony sent out the picture schedule to all coaches.	All teams need to make sure they are on time for their pictures.
Game Change Requests	All game changes on our fields need to be approved by Tony before the request is made to MVYSA.	Butler United coaches need to contact Tony about field availability when a game needs to be changed.
Uniforms	The uniforms are property of the Club.	Coaches- please remind your players they are not allowed to cut the tags out of the uniforms.
Treasurer’s report	Financial report was passed out and reviewed.	Ref money was passed out to all coaches.
Butler United Day at Action Sports	We will be having a Club event at Action Sports in November.	More info to come as we work out the details.
Fundraiser Pick-up	Pies from the Pie Peddler fundraiser will be delivered to the Senior Center on August 28^th.	All players who sold pies need to pick them up from the Senior Center between 5-7pm on August 28^th.
Golf Outing	The Club is looking in to holding a golf outing. Tenative dates are May 2^nd and July 18^th.	More info to come
Tournaments	Coaches if you play in a tournament and do well send the info to Joe Edgell and he will write an article to submit to the paper.	Send tournament results and team info to Joe Edgell at edgell.joseph22@gmail.com

February 2013 Minutes

Board Member resignation	We are sad to announce the resignation of Steve Sowers from the Butler United Soccer Board. Steve has been involved with Butler United for many years and has worn many hats during his time with the Club. Due to personal and time issues he is unable to continue as a Board Member. We will still see Steve on the field as he will continue as the Head Coach for the BU14 team. We would like to thank Steve for all his hard work and dedication to the Club.
Butler United players to help serve at a senior citizens dinner.	The Senior Citizen Center is asking for 10-12 Butler United players to help serve the senior citizens at a dinner on April 27^th from 5:30-9pm. We are looking for player 12 years old or older.	Contact Brenda with the names of players interested in helping.
Important MVYSA dates	2/20 Divisioning 2/21 Team restrictions deadline
Field set up	We will be doing the initial set up of the fields for the Spring season in the next few weeks. We will have a date for field set up sent out to everyone soon.	Every team is required to have volunteers help with field set up.
Spirit wear	Spirit wear order forms and money are due to Kit Spieles by this Friday, Feb 22^nd.
Fundraiser	Fundraiser order forms and money are due to Jen Jeffers by Mar 18^th. Items will be delivered to the Senior Center on Mar 26^th. Volunteers are needed to help sort items.	Coaches need to bring order forms/money/team tally sheet to Jen Jeffers at the March BUSC Board meeting mar 18^th at 7pm at the Senior Center If you are able to help with sorting on Mar 26^th, please contact Jen at 974-4070.
Concussion Certificate	Everyone on the coach’s sideline with the players during the game needs to complete their concussion certification online at MVYSA.com
Challenger Camp	All coaches are strongly encouraged to have players attend the Butler United Challenger Camp this year June 17^th-21^st.	Players can register online at butlerunitedsoccer.com Register before May 3^rd and receive a free challenger jersey.
Training	John passed out a tentative training schedule. Finalized schedule will be emailed to coaches. Training starts the week of Mar10th.

March 19th 2012 Minutes

Presidents report:

• Tryouts will be held May 29th, 30th & June 4th. Boys 5:30-7pm. Girls 7-8:30pm.

• FYI for coaches: before home games you need to pick up the key for the storage shed at Steve’s house. This is so you can get the corner flags for your game. Please be sure to return the key to Steve’s as soon as your game is over.

• Each team needs to be signing up for a tournament; deadlines are quickly approaching.

• Each team needs to give Steve a copy of their roster ASAP.

• Fundraiser pick up will be March 29th from 6-8pm at the Senior Center. Coaches are responsible for any items that are not picked up by their players.

February 20th 2012 Minutes

Presidents report:

• Spiritwear orders due to Kit Spieles by Feb 29th.

• Field setup will be March 10th at 10am. Each team should have 2 voleunteers to help with set up.

• Challenger Camp will be June 18th -22nd. Families interested in hosting a Camp Coach should contact a Board member.

Vice Presidents report:

• Will have a proposal for BUSC Tournament by next Board meeting.

Secretary report:

•We need volunteers to help get ready for tryouts. Next meeting we will be signing up tryout volunteers.

Treasurer report:

•Training starts March 11. The finalized schedule will be emailed to the coaches.

•Cash flow analysis was passed out and reviewed.
