We believe in achieving success through hard work, practice, and playing the game the right way. We preach competition and believe winning builds a level of character that best prepares a young individual for the challenges of life and what they will be faced with at higher levels within the game. However, we want our teams to accomplish winning through three main teaching points.   
 

1. PLAY THE GAME THE RIGHT WAY

Baseball and sports in general can teach us a lot of things and prepare us for certain challenges we may face throughout life. Not only do we strive to develop the best players possible, but we also strive to develop the best people possible. This starts with teaching players how to properly play the game. Examples of playing the game the “right way” includes, but not limited to, always hustling, giving 100% effort, being a great teammate, staying positive even through tough circumstances, play every out the same way regardless of score.

2. USE FAILURE AS A VEHICLE TO IMPROVE

Baseball, more than any other sport, consists of a high percentage of failure. As the saying goes, the best players in the game are only successful at hitting a baseball 30% of the time. It’s important to build this understanding in players at a young age. How players respond to failure will ultimately determine how much success they will have in this game and how long they will be able to play. We use failure as a vehicle to improve. This means, when an individual fails, we use that as a great opportunity to teach and educate that individual why they didn’t have success. We often learn more from our failures and therefore we do not want to miss that opportunity.  

3. TEACH THE FUNDAMENTALS

We believe teaching the fundamentals is truly the foundation for developing the best players possible. Whether a player is 9 years old or a professional, the fundamentals should always be taught. The game of baseball is a game of repetition and reaction. The best players are the ones that are able to do things with little to no thought but purely based on an immediate reaction. This skill is created through consistent repetitive practice of the fundamentals. When you play the game the right way, learn from your mistakes and use those mistakes to get better, and consistently practice perfecting the fundamentals of the game, the result is the creation of successful baseball players and an increase in wins.   

THE RIPKEN EXPERIENCE

Located in Aberdeen, MD, The Ripken Experience is the home of The Chesapeake Blue Claws throughout the spring and summer. This state of the art facility allows for our players to maximize their training and for our coaches to maximize their practices. With numerous turf fields and covered batting cages our teams are able to practice more consistently without the affect of weather. Our players feel like they are consistently practicing like the pros! In the winter months, we utilize some of the top indoor training facilities in the area to keep our players progressing forward.

CAGES BASEBALL TRAINING CENTER

With 3000 sq. ft. of training space, including 4 batting tunnels and a pitching tunnel, The Cages provides teams with the perfect space to workout/practice throughout the winter months.

Located in the heart of Bel Air, MD, Kore is the facility of choice for all our off season training needs. We utilize Kore for a variety of sports performance training programs that focus on improving a players athleticism, speed, agility, and explosiveness. We also utilize Kore for a variety of off season position specific clinics.

The Baseball Warehouse

The Baseball Warehouse, LLC is an all professional staff (Former Minor and Major League players and coaches) that specializes in private baseball instruction, coaching clinics, camps and College placement. We strive to provide the best professional instruction in the area at an affordable rate. As a staff we are committed to educating the players, coaches and parents regarding the many aspects of the game. Professional Baseball Training

 PBT’s private team instruction program is highly beneficial for players and coaches. One or two of the PBT instructors can be made available to join your team at a practice and/or game in order to develop the necessary skills needed to become the best team you can be. Your team can either join the PBT instructor(s) at our cages (6541 Baltimore National Pike, Catonsville, MD 21228) or you can arrange a location for our instructor(s) to come and instruct.
