Waiver Wire Rules and Order

Any player who isn't drafted is a one-year free agent.  This means that to sign a player you must release a player to make room on your roster and that at the end of the season that player will again be available to any team in the league in the draft or as a free agent again.

An Owner has to send the league commissioner a message that they are looking to add a player from the Waiver Wire.  In that message the Owner must also give the player that would be released at the time of the new players signing.

The rest of the league will be informed of the player who the owner is trying to sign and the player that the owner will be releasing.  The rest of the league has 24 hours from the posting of the Commissioner  to put a claim in on the new player.  The 24 hour rule will be waived if the team in the first position in the Waiver Wire Order is the team putting in the claim.

The Waiver Wire Order is originally set by last years standings.  No computer team can block a claim of another team, but can claim a free agent if the team needs to.

2. Tampa Bay

3. Detroit

4. Milwaukee

5. Chicago

6. Colorado

7. Cleveland

8. Los Angeles 

9. Boston

10. Arizona

11. St. Louis

12. New York

After a team has been awarded a player thru the waiver wire that team will move down to the bottom of the list and every other team will move up.

At the end of the season the list will be readjusted to the standings. 

Again remember no player in the waiver wire will be able to be kept after the current season.
