Abrams Park

OCTOBER 2013 The Abrams Youth Baseball Association members have completed a grass infield for the baseball field at Abrams Community Park. The success of the project was lead by Keith Olejniczak, Al Truckey and Terry Magnin. They could not have completed the sprinkler system, sod laying, electrical work and moving of dirt without these volunteers. Along with Keith, Al and Terry a big thank-you to Joe and Mason Sefcik, Rick and Bo Shroyer; Rick Engel, Bruce, Andy and Wesley Brabant, Joe VerVelde, Ken Leja, Rory Leja, Joe Van Ark, Rick Bouche, Judy and Blake Olejniczak and Terry Magnin’s crew. The field will get used first by the Oconto Falls High School JV baseball team next spring. Most area leagues have a grass infield baseball field so this will be an advantage for our AYBA baseball teams to start playing and practicing on next season.
