- Entering his first year as an NSWL captain Koenig is trying to take his game to new heights. The four year veteran has made a trip to the World Series and has also racked up quite a few awards during this time. He's won a Barry Bonds, Ty Cobb and Pete Rose Award during his time and also finished second in MVP voting last season. His big bat will surely make him a top team in the league if he can grab a quality pitcher in the draft. He's played under the likes of Mike Riccardi and Rob McLoughlin during his career who have shaped him as a player. This should help him make the next step as a captain in the NSWL.
