- Entering his third year with the NSWL, Joe Nappa is poised to bring back the magic of his rookie season after a tough 2015 campaign. Nappa initially was set to retire, but signed a deal worth $420k with the league earlier this month. Known as one of the best weak side fielders in the game he is a highly touted second round pick. Nappa is the owner of a Gold Glove and if he can bring back his impressive offensive numbers he will again be a top player in the league. Many remember his incredible catch to take away a home run from Rob McLoughlin, and double up Noah Koenig, in game 4 of the 2014 World Series. Nappa is also a former Rookie of the Year and winner of the first ever Subway Sub of the Year Award.
