- The highly touted rookie is now entering his second year with the NSWL and looking to improve. His numbers were slightly below where Angles manager John Meyers would have liked, but they were still good enough to earn him Rookie of the Year honors for the NL. The athletic frame of Perry gives him the ability to track down many fly balls that other simply cannot. If he can bring up his average this upcoming season the sophomore from UAlbany will become a force in the league. Lets not forget all the stars that started off slow in the early stages of their careers (Stephen Kires, Chase Parzych and Mason White just to name a few).
